Damn that's accurate.
My doctor has tried to prescribe me the same $900 a month med 3 times now, and keeps wanting to see me every few weeks all of the sudden, while it used to be once a year. He tries to order tests I don't need and says "well since someone else is paying for it we might as well" which isn't true. I keep having to remind him I don't have insurance.
