Have spent a few days thinking. Were America a parliament government, someone would have called a no confidence vote by now.

 

There are odd similarities, though, in the way the factions within both the Senate and also the House are playing out. It is, in many ways, the need to form a government from the many splits.

 

Thought America remains mostly a two-party system, the various factions are making this government much moar interdasting to watch than recent years.

 

Would have been spectacular if MMcConnell had not been able to land 60 votes. Still work to be done.
