Agree. Read Deuteronomy, chapter 11.
Verse 18: “You shall therefore impress these words of mine on your heart and on your soul; and you shall bind them as a sign on yourhand, and they shall be as frontals on yourforehead.
Of course it would. But what matters is what "the mark" is from God's perspective. God's concern is whether we worship Him, or we turn on Him to worship something else. Taking "the mark" appears to be our choice to worship something other than God.
