Former Wisconsin Supreme Court Judge Michael Gableman was given the task of looking into the 2020 election in Wisconsin. Gableman is focusing on five locations where irregularities were noted related to interference from foreign players like Facebook. Gableman shared the following with radio host Dan O’Donnell:

This is not a court proceding. This is an exercise of the legislature’s constitutional right and their constitutional duty to see how laws are being impletmented. ..

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Friday praised Joe Biden’s disastrous economy, inflation and abysmal September jobs report.

Biden’s joke of an economy only added 194,000 jobs in September and the unemployment rate fell by 0.4%, the US Bureau Labor Statistics reported.

The ‘experts’ predicted 500,000 jobs would be added but they were wrong again.

Biden’s disastrous jobs report was so bad that it shocked the CNBC panel as the numbers rolled in during a live broadcast.

A reporter confronted Psaki on the terrible jobs report, rising gas prices, inflation and Biden’s failure to get his infrastructure bill passed through Congress.

Psaki’s response shows just how out-of-touch the Biden regime is with middle America: “We certainly don’t see things as darkly as you do… we’re on track.”

Over 130 Countries Reach Agreement to Set Corporate Minimum Tax at 15 Percent

A group of 136 countries on Friday set a minimum global tax rate of 15 percent for big companies.

Negotiations have been going on for four years and while the costs of the coronavirus pandemic gave them additional impetus in recent months, a deal was only agreed upon when Ireland, Estonia, and Hungary dropped their opposition and signed up.

Moreover, the 15 percent floor agreed is well below a corporate tax rate that averages around 23.5 percent in industrialized countries.

“Establishing, for the first time in history, a strong global minimum tax will finally even the playing field for American workers and taxpayers, along with the rest of the world,” Biden said in a statement.

The deal aims to stop large firms booking profits in low-tax countries such as Ireland regardless of where their clients are

Out of the 140 countries involved, 136 supported the deal, with Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka abstaining for now.

The Paris-based Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), which has been leading the talks, said that the deal would cover 90 percent of the global economy.

But with the ink barely dry, some countries were already raising concerns about implementing the deal.

The Swiss finance ministry demanded in a statement that the interests of small economies be taken into account and said that the 2023 implementation date was impossible, while Poland, which has concerns over the impact on foreign investors, said it would keep working on the deal.

Central to the agreement is a minimum corporate tax rate of 15 percent and allowing governments to tax a greater share of foreign multinationals’ profits.

The OECD said that the minimum rate would see countries collect around $150 billion in new revenues annually while taxing rights on more than $125 billion of profit would be shifted to countries where big multinationals earn their income.

Ireland, Estonia, and Hungary, all low tax countries, dropped their objections this week as a compromise emerged on a deduction from the minimum rate for multinationals with real physical business activities abroad.

Victorian and South Australian border towns of Murrayville and Pinnaroo struck by magnitude-4.8 earthquake

A magnitude-4.8 earthquake occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning, south-west of Murrayville near the South Australian border.

VicEmergency said the earthquake hit at 3:47am, with magnitude-3.0, 2.8 and 2.6 aftershocks occurring later throughout the morning.

The epicentre was around 10 kilometres from the South Australian border, and the earthquake occurred at a depth of around 2km.

The State Emergency Service said in a statement that little to no damage had resulted from the earthquake.

Hospital deletes tweets mentioning viral nurse who passed out after getting COVID vaccine

Nurse Tiffany Dover went viral last year when she passed out on live television while receiving the COVID-19 vaccine after she was selected by her hospital to receive it early. After, rumors suggesting she died circulated online, prompting statements from Dover’s family, hospital, and other officials that were then used to fact check claims of her death. The CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where Dover worked, issued three tweets featuring Dover to reassure the public on December 18, 19, and 21.

However, despite the tweets and videos being referenced by many fact check articles, CHI Memorial Hospital has since deleted its tweets about Dover.

Tiffany Dover, a nurse working for CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, went viral last December after she collapsed on live television immediately after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. Shortly afterwards, rumors of her death spread online. This prompted fact-checks from the New York Post, fact checking website Snopes, news agency Reuters and, more recently, the left wing publication the Daily Beast with its article in February. At press, these websites still assure readers Dover is alive and well citing public statements, including those made by CHI Memorial Hospital.

Per the Daily Beast’s February 2021 article. “There are more than 22,000 comments on her last Facebook post, from people around the world—a collective grieving and outpouring of anger for the 30-year-old mother of two. But Tiffany Dover is not dead.”

“According to all official sources, she is alive and well and working as a nurse at CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga. Last week, she was pictured on the front of the local newspaper caring for a north Georgia police chief who had been in the hospital for nearly 100 days,” wrote the Daily Beast. National File was unable to find this photo of Dover, which was not published by The Daily Beast. The publication also did not name local newspaper, making verification more difficult.

One news outlet at the time attributed the fall to the vaccine. In statements, Dover told the media and the public that she had a rare reaction to pain that caused the reaction, and it was not caused by the vaccine. “I have a history of having an overactive vagal response, and so with that if I have pain from anything—hangnail or if I stub my toe—I can just pass out,” the nurse later said.

US to Accept WHO-Approved COVID-19 Vaccines for International Visitors - CDC

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the US' national public health agency, said Friday it would begin accepting all COVID-19 vaccines approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) for emergency use.

"Six vaccines that are FDA [US Food and Drug Administration] authorized/approved or listed for emergency use by WHO will meet the criteria for travel to the US," a spokesperson for the CDC told Reuters.

At present, the WHO has approved six vaccines for emergency use. Three are already in use in the US: Pfizer-BioNTech's vaccine, Moderna's, and Johnson & Johnson's Janssen vaccine. The rule change will now also include the regular Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine, as well as the specific formulation used by India's Serum Institute, known by the name CoviShield; China's two most popular vaccines, Sinopharm's BiBP vaccine and SinoVac's CoronaVac vaccine, are also included.

A WHO spokesperson said earlier on Friday the international health agency was "near" to approving the Sputnik V vaccine, made by Russia's Gamaleya Institute. Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said last week that only paperwork remained.

The rule change means international visitors who received a number of COVID-19 vaccines not available in the United States will now be recognized as being vaccinated against the SARS-CoV-2 virus. This will open up travel to the US as well as entry to venues that require proof of vaccination, which has been mandated in several US cities and implemented on an ad hoc basis at venues in many others.

Last week, the White House announced that in November, travelers from the European Union, China, Iran, South Africa, Brazil and India would be allowed to enter the country again, provided they can demonstrate proof of vaccination. Aside from a select few countries, including Mexico, Canada, Japan, and Singapore, travel to the United States during the 18 months since the pandemic began has been almost totally restricted.

Worldwide, about 3.64 billion people have been immunized against COVID-19, or 47.5% of humanity, according to data compiled by the New York Times. Of them, 1.1 billion are Chinese, the vast majority of whom will no longer be barred from the US on account of vaccination status. Further, about 77% of total shots have gone to residents of middle and upper-income countries, while just 0.5% have gone to lower-income countries.

While aside from the unapproved Sputnik V, the vaccines now approved are the most widely used around the globe. However, several other vaccines are also in use in smaller numbers, ranging from Bharat Biotech's Covaxin vaccine being used in seven countries, including India where it was developed, to others used just in the country where they were developed, such as Kazakhstan's QazVac and Iran's COVIran Barakat. None of the five vaccines developed by Cuba, which are beginning to be shipped to other countries like Venezuela and Iran, have been approved by the WHO.
