Strange Amazon experience yesterday. A GiveBest ceramic mini space heater shows up on my porch. I didn't buy the item but it's clearly addressed to anon. There's no sender info on the package so I get to thinking- where would this come from and start scanning barcodes/QR codes and as best I can determine this is an Amazon product. Then I think O FK! and check my account. All is well. Next step I chat and ask Did you send this and if so why? I didn't order it, don't want it and WTF. They come back to chat and apologize, offer a $20 credit and want anon to keep it.

I explain I don't want their cheap Chinese crap, do not ever do it again. More apologies.

How random is that? I thought for sure my card was compromised. Weirdest delivery ever.

I told them this was creepy stalker-ish behavior and Bezos was already too creepy so knock it off. They kept apologizing but never did come straight out and say Yes, we sent that. I am mystified, I can't find the angle. Maybe it's a stealth Siri or …I'm too paranoid.
