Sadly, school boards have the power to do what they want… if you go to your state’s laws, it spells it all out. Many parents don’t know that. Doesn’t mean they shouldn’t speak up, but the board has the final say usually. The only way to win is to not play.

I could physically pull a carrot out of the ground and their reply would be “yeah, but….”
