ENTIRE SCHOOL in Wyoming put on lockdown after one student refuses to wear face mask – and she gets arrested & fined over it

A 16-year-old high school girl was arrested and her entire school locked down, all over her refusal to wear a face mask. Her arrest caused outrage on the right, and conservatives have started chipping in to her legal defense.

Video footage captured on Thursday showed 16-year-old Grace Smith met with school officials and a police officer when she turned up at the doors of Laramie High School in Wyoming. Smith had already served two consecutive suspensions for refusing to wear a face mask in class – per school board requirements – and again attempted to enter the building unmasked.

She was given a $500 citation by a police officer, then was handcuffed and arrested when she refused to voluntarily leave the school. As Smith refused to leave, a loudspeaker announcement informed students that “we are in a lockdown, please stay in your rooms.”

The arresting officer could be heard telling the teenager that the lockdown is her fault, but the teen refused to leave the building until she was led away in cuffs.

Andy Smith, Grace’s father, told local news outlets that the family has retained an attorney to fight the citations. Later in the video of his daughter’s arrest, Smith tells school district Superintendent Jubal Yennie that the suspensions “are just absurd to me,” and “despicable.”

After Meeting With Pope Francis, Pelosi Flees Rome Church Service in Security Incident…(Hecklers?)

A “security issue” prompted the notoriously pro-choice Catholic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to flee a Catholic mass in Rome on Saturday, according to an announcement made from the altar by a priest during the service. Epoch Times reporter Bree A. Dail posted a video clip of the announcement, adding that hecklers at the mass reportedly caused Pelosi to leave. The priest noted there was a “commotion”, saying Pelosi was scheduled to do a reading for the mass but had to leave.

In Vermont, Non-Citizens Can Now Vote

Vermont will now allow non-citizens to vote in two cities. State lawmakers overrode Republican Governor Phil Scott's veto on the matter. The override vote occurred in late June. It centered on ordinances passed in Montpelier and Winooski (via VT Digger):

The Vermont Senate on Thursday narrowly overrode Gov. Phil Scott’s vetoes of charter changes that allow noncitizens in Winooski and Montpelier to vote in local elections.

In votes of 20-10, Senate Democrats met the two-thirds majority necessary to overturn the Republican governor’s veto pen. The upper chamber’s actions come after the Vermont House of Representatives on Wednesday also successfully overrode Scott’s decision. The charter changes to Winooski and Montpelier will now become law.

The Winooski measure, H.227, allows legal residents to vote in both city government and school district elections, while the Montpelier measure, H.177, applies only to city government elections.

California Becomes the First State that Requires High School Students to Pass a CRT-Based “Ethnic Studies” Course in Order to Graduate; New Law will Also Apply to Charter Schools

On Friday, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed a bill – AB 101- into law that makes it mandatory for high school students to pass “ethnic studies” indoctrination courses as a part of their graduation requirements. The new law makes California the first state in the US to make learning marxist CRT ideology compulsory for teenage students to graduate.

In addition to every public school in the state, charter schools will also have to follow the new guidelines – Only Private schools are exempt from the new law – Which is very conveinent for the Governor, seeing that his 4 children all attend lavish private schools.

Not to mention all of his wealthy eliteist friends and their children.
