Shortages are indeed contrived. There were 67 ships anchored off of the coast of Long Beach last Wednesday (I counted) - Spoke with an in-law that was a longshoreman for 40 years at LB. Asked him to make contact with his longshoremen peers and find the truth.

He says that the big box stores (Target, Home Depot, Lowes) are closing their docks daily. The longshoremen have been lobbying to have the docks open 24/7 but the PMA and the big box stores won't - It takes 2 days to load-out a rail line (Normally), now its taking 11 days.
