Forgive my tech naivete… could it have anything to do with anons posting using vpns bouncing things around while also board lag causing some posts to be in process for an extended time before posting? Maybe both posts are incoming at just the same time and the board has a bug that assigns the post numbers incorrectly if they are too close.
Got any recommendations on something to read or watch to dive into this timeline rabbit hole?

Random question if anyone has info, pls let me know. If you download a meme or picture off of FB or Twt, are the files modified in any way to cause any issues with reposting elsewhere or forwarding to others? Can they carry trackers somehow?
