No, we think it's a day planner. A fancy appointment calendar. Or the leather binder that encloses documents for the President's signature. A Bible would be much thicker.

Pens have two ends.
The business end, the writing end, isn't shown.
And that could equally well be the significant part that points to a clock position?
I am sure they have a Bible in the Oval office, I am sure they pray together, I am sure they are men of faith, but I am not sure that thin leather binder with gold-edged pages is a Bible. It is too thin to be a Bible.
But time will tell.
