For the record I believe Anna Anderson was Anastasia.
At one point she hinted at body doubles to Lovell. She said she managed to escape imprisonment and she made her way to Berlin, and I think most of us know where it went from there.
She had a lot of the same scars Anastasia had, as well as a foot condition. I think someone screwed with the DNA test…no doubt there were a LOT of people in her (extended) family who had things at stake.
She did have a child, but it was due to being raped by Bolsheviks, and she gave the child up for adoption. So somewhere in Europe Anastasia likely has descendants.
