I dunno, I figured it out on my own 50 yrs ago and I was okay. Got pretty damn pissed for a while, but nothing that required hospitalization.
I get that. Born into it as well, educated by Ursulans in elem and Franciscans in HS. When we came back to school one summer, the former 6th grade teacher had left and married one of the pastors who also left. Every one of the priests I related to are no longer priests. I left right after graduation. My 90 yr old mother is still active, but she is aware and told me she hasn't found a "holy" priest in many years. Religion is man's way of controlling man in the name of God.
