I think the Jan 6 subpoenas on Trump advisors is tied into this. Dan says no subpoena served over a two week period when they all knew exactly where he was, and he was at Mar-a-Lago or at home. IOW, it was just an attempt to create a fake news story that Trump advisors were running from subpoenas.
That could be a setup to be used for excusing Mueller's staff defying any subpoenas they'll be getting. Moral equivalency bullshit, again.
