>Fitting considering that 2021 has been all about experiencing the precipice and finding the will to change.

Sometimes the people, indeed, need to experience a deeply resonating reality to finally effect change.

Consider the alcoholic/drug addicts that have recovered from what seemed to be a hopeless state of mind and body.

Whatever their background (alcohol and drugs have no specific prejudice) for those that have recovered there is an event or events that affect them so deeply, so much so, it awakens them into a moment of clarity that says: "I can't continue in this behavior anymoar" There is no moar residual battle about what they've become and can't control. A form of surrender of the 'idea' that they can successfully go out and manage their drinking/using, which is impossible to turn back from when they cross that line, like a pickle. An unusual paradox occurs, they end up surrendering to win and recover.

It is not surprising that the masses need to be shown on a mass scale, the true behavior of authoritarian tyranny before it resonates so deeply, so thoroughly that it motivates them to, indeed, 'effect change'.

All they have to do, once that point is achieved is to RESPOND and woe to those that have attempted dictatorial rule to usurp them from their God given liberty and freedom.
