I find it interesting how today's preachers refer back to the Old Testament to justify requiring tithing. A "storehouse" had to do with agriculture, not money. The Levites lived off the tithes.

2 Corinthians 9:7 says: Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

As he purposeth in his heart. There's no mandatory 10% minimum there.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Giving of money is a sacrifice–but isn't giving of your TIME also a sacrifice? Volunteering, etc.

Oh yeah off Route 57. A 64-year-old man was trying to take off but somehow the nose of his plane hit the ground. There were Medina County sheriff cars all over the place, police from Wadsworth and Rittman…it was a sight.
