The Church isn’t mentioned after chapter 3 or 4 (3 iirc) of Revelation. This is because the Church isn’t there when the Tribulation starts. Where did the Church go? Pre-Tribulation Rapture is the only thing that makes sense. Btw, there is literally nothing (prophetically speaking) that needs to happen (signs, wonders, etc) prior to the Rapture. We’re not waiting on any particular circumstance to occur. The Rapture could happen at any moment. Be ready.

Well we could delve into hypotheticals all day but why not just go straight to the source. Revelation. It’s a bit confusing (I know) to try and figure out what the 8th toe on some Beast really represents, but the timeline of events is pretty straight forward. Also, what we are experiencing now is nowhere near the amount of suffering and oppression talked about in Revelation so no, the Great Tribulation hasn’t already started.

As for the OT prophets (Daniel, David, Isaiah, Jeremiah, etc), exactly how did they prophecy with to-the-exact-day/date accuracy the coming of Christ? How did they know all of the details of where He would be born and live, how He would die, etc? Read Isaiah 53, written hundreds of years before Christ. Read Psalm 22. How did the writers in the OT, hundreds of years before Christ, know about crucifixion when that was not a form of capital punishment they had ever used. It was a Roman form of punishment that they would not have been aware of until Rome took control over them, much later and closer to the birth of Christ.

I like Grace to You ministry by John MacArthur. He’s a great preacher and he doesn’t believe in the tithe. He said Abraham and Isaac only gave a tenth once in recorded scripture and that there is no command to give a tenth anywhere in scripture. In the OT, they had a theocracy which required giving a tenth of this and a tenth of that. It was equivalent to a taxation system but for a theocratic government. MacArthur says our current taxation system (~23%) is the same as what they were doing and paying our taxes is our only tithing requirement. We certainly don’t have a theocracy but MacArthur correctly points to scripture that says that all government is ordained of God (even the not so Godly ones) so taxation is our only tithing responsibility. That’s not to say we shouldn’t give, but giving must be from the heart and one should give what he or she seems they want to give from their heart. It is Biblical that such giving will be rewarded spiritually, and often financially, by God. Put your treasures in Heaven instead of the things of this world essentially.

There is no requirement to tithe 10% anywhere in the Bible. OT tithe is equivalent to current day taxation. Jesus said we should pay our taxes, but nothing about tithing 10%.

Many highly intelligent men have made it their life’s mission to discredit and destroy the Bible throughout the ages. The Bible still stands while most of them are dead and gone. If what you claim is true, God knows and He will not let His children be condemned by these modifications. I trust Him. He knows that I only have access to the versions of the Bible that are available today. If they have been tainted in any way, God will ensure I know whatever I need to know.
