Video Emerges Showing Late Football Superstar Diego Maradona Lying in Bed With 16-Year-Old Girl
Last month, Mavys Alvarez, 37, claimed that the athlete had trafficked her from Cuba to Argentina, where she was kept in a hotel for three months. Ms Alvarez has filed a lawsuit with Argentina’s Prosecutor’s Office for Trafficking and Exploitation of Persons.
A video has emerged showing the late football superstar Diego Maradona lying in bed with a 16-year-old girl. Footage obtained by the Argentinian outlet Infobae shows Cuban national Mavys Alvarez filmed by the athlete, who is later seen next to her shirtless. The video also shows Maradona’s associates in the room.
The clip was posted almost two weeks after Ms Alvarez accused the athlete of trafficking her from Cuba to Argentina. The 37-year-old said she got acquainted with Maradona, widely regarded as the world’s best football player, in 2000 in Cuba, where he was being treated for alcohol and drug addiction.
The meeting turned out to be catastrophic, the woman claims, as the football star got her hooked on drugs.
"It was the biggest mistake of my life. I was just a girl. I was pure. He was a stranger, he was rich and he paid attention to me. I could not say no", she told the Miami-based TV station América TeVe.
The 37-year-old claims their relationship lasted for three years without elaborating whether the two had sex. Ms Alvarez has alleged that Maradona bullied her into having a breast enlargement surgery.
Asked why she decided to come out with the accusations only now, the woman said she feared her family would be persecuted by the Cuban "regime". She told América TeVe that Maradona introduced her to the late Cuban leader Fidel Castro, who made an exception for Ms Alvarez and allowed her to travel to Argentina to attend a commemorative match for Maradona in 2001. Cubans need to receive permission to leave the country, and back in 2001 few citizens were allowed to travel.

Ms Alvarez claimed she was kept in a hotel for three months during her stay in Argentina. She has now filed a lawsuit against Maradona’s entourage. Her lawyer says Argentine immigration officials allowed Ms Alvarez to enter the country without consent from her parents.
Maradona died on 25 November 2020 aged 60 after suffering a heart attack. Three weeks before his death, he successfully underwent surgery to remove a blood clot in his brain and was to be treated for alcohol addiction.

Judge Overrules NY Governor - Says Employers Must Grant Religious Exemptions To Healthcare Workers
A federal judge in New York ruled on Tuesday that State Health Officials must allow employers to grant religious exemptions to a Covid-19 vaccine mandate for healthcare workers while a lawsuit challenging the mandate proceeds through the courts, according to the NY Times.
"The question is whether the State’s summary imposition of § 2.61 conflicts with plaintiffs’ and other individuals’ federally protected right to seek a religious accommodation from their individual employers," wrote Judge David N. Hurd, a Bill Clinton appointee.
"The answer to this question is clearly yes. Plaintiffs have established that § 2.61 conflicts with longstanding federal protections for religious beliefs and that they and others will suffer irreparable harm in the absence of injunctive relief," reads the 27-page ruling, which offers a reprieve for thousands of unvaccinated doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers who would have otherwise been fired or prevented from working on Tuesday if the ruling had gone the other way.
Hurd issued a preliminary injunction preventing the NY Department of Health from acting against any employer who grants religious exemptions, adding that the plaintiffs were likely to succeed in their case.
"The Department of Health is barred from interfering in any way with the granting of religious exemptions from Covid-19 vaccination going forward, or with the operation of exemptions already granted," reads the ruling.
New York Governor Kathy M. Hochul indicated that the state would appeal.
"My responsibility as governor is to protect the people of this state, and requiring health care workers to get vaccinated accomplishes that," she said. "I stand behind this mandate, and I will fight this decision in court to keep New Yorkers safe."
In late-August, Hochul's administration overrode a religious exemption contained within former Gov. Cuomo's original vaccine mandate - prompting 17 healthcare workers to sue the state in federal court, claiming that the mandate conflicted with their religious beliefs "because they all employ fetal cell lines derived from procured abortion in testing."

Massachusetts Governor Activates National Guard to Test School Children For Covid
Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker (R) on Tuesday announced he activated the National Guard to help test school children for Covid.
Baker activated 450 members of the Massachusetts National Guard for two missions: 200 members will support Covid testing in K-12 schools and up to 250 member will be used to offset staffing shortages at the Department of Correction (DOC), the governor’s office said.
School Testing Mission
“The Commonwealth has developed a nation-leading COVID-19 testing program to help K-12 students remain in school safely. Over 2,200 schools have currently signed up to participate in at least one of three types of testing: test and stay, symptomatic testing, and pooled testing. Since the beginning of the school year, results from pooled testing show pool positivity rates of less than 1 percent, and test and stay, which is used to test close contacts, has saved approximately 25,000 school days for students who would have otherwise had to quarantine.”
Department of Correction Contingency Planning
In close coordination with public safety officials, the DOC continues preparations for the possibility of a reduction in DOC staffing levels due to non-compliance with Executive Order 595, which requires all Executive Department employees to demonstrate proof of vaccination against COVID-19 by October 17. Activating the Guard in advance of the deadline allows for Guard personnel to immediately begin job-specific training and assume roles, if needed, in the event of a reduction in DOC staffing levels.
Last month Governor Baker activated the National Guard to take children to school amid a massive shortage of bus drivers.
Up to 250 Guard troops were activated mid-September to fill the shortage.
Dozens of state trooper have also resigned because of Governor Baker’s mandatory vaccine mandate.

911 System In Jeopardy As First Responders Reject Jab
The American Ambulance Association (AAA) warned House and Senate leaders the "nation's EMS system is facing a crippling workforce shortage, a long-term problem that has been building for more than a decade. It threatens to undermine our emergency 9-1-1 infrastructure and deserves urgent attention by Congress."
"The magnitude has really blown up over the last few months," AAA President Shawn Baird told NBC News.
"When you take a system that was already fragile and stretched it because you didn't have enough people entering the field, then you throw a public health emergency and all of the additional burdens that it put on our workforce, as well as the labor shortages across the entire economy, and it really has put us in a crisis mode," Baird said.
What's making the EMS labor shortage worse is President Biden's vaccine mandates. First responders are quitting across the county because they don't want to get the jab and have realized they can transfer to other higher-paying jobs.
Waldoboro, Maine, town manager Julie Keizer told News Center Maine that "the vaccine mandate has contributed to the loss of first responders."
"I think part of the problem is everybody thought they (workers) would conform because nobody wants to lose their jobs," Keizer added. "But when you look at the rate of pay for emergency workers, they can make more delivering packages than patients."
The pushback against vaccine mandates is not just with EMS personnel. Hundreds of firefighters in Los Angeles have filed a notice of intent to sue the city over the order.
The goal of federal, state, and local governments is to get everyone vaccinated, but opponents say constitutional authority to impose these requirements on the workforce is wrong.
The LA firefighters' attorney wrote that the vaccination order is "blatantly wrongful conduct," citing several reasons, including interference with employment rights; infliction of emotional distress; violation of constitutional privacy rights; and violation of the protection of human subjects in the medical experimentation act.
… and there's even LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva, who refused to enforce the vaccine mandate, saying he would risk losing up to 10% of his workforce if he did so.
What's becoming clear is that EMS, firefighters, and police, are not down with the mandated jab by the government, resulting in some to leave their posts - threatening the already fragile 911 system.

Southwest CEO: Vaccine Mandates Weren’t Behind Flight Cancelations, Suggests ‘Absenteeism’ Is the Cause
The CEO of Southwest on Tuesday denied claims that the federal vaccine mandates were the cause of more than 2,000 flight cancelations in recent days.
During an appearance on CNBC, CEO Gary Kelly was asked about President Joe Biden’s announcement that will mandate companies with federal contracts to require their staff to get the vaccine and whether it was related to delays and cancelations.
“Zero,” Kelly said. “We look at all of our employee behaviors in terms of absenteeism, in terms of people volunteering to come in and pick up what’s referred to as ‘open time,’ and they’re all very normal.”
Kelly then noted that the main pilots union, the Southwest Airlines Pilots Association, denied that its pilots called in sick en masse in what has been termed a “sickout” over the vaccine mandate. The union last week filed a lawsuit against Southwest over the vaccine mandate.
Some, including Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), speculated that Biden’s vaccine mandate triggered the delays. According to flight tracker FlightAware, there were about 800 Southwest cancelations on Saturday, 1,000 on Sunday, more than 350 on Monday. On Tuesday, about 89 flights were canceled and 622 flights were delayed across the United States, the website data shows.
“I think people who understand how airlines work—when you get behind it just takes several days to catch up,” Kelly said. “And the fact that we were basically caught up yesterday and today supports the assertion that we’re making here.”
Kelly, however, was critical of Biden’s vaccine mandate, saying he wasn’t in favor of corporations making it a requirement to stay employed.
“I’ve never been in favor of corporations imposing that kind of a mandate. I’m not in favor of that. Never have been,” Kelly explained during the program. “But the executive order from President Biden mandates that all federal employees and then all federal contractors, which covers all the major airlines, have to have a [vaccine] mandate … in place by Dec. 8, so we’re working through that.”
In a Sept. 9 announcement at the White House, Biden said that federal employees, federal contractors, and healthcare staff working at Medicare- or Medicaid-funded hospitals and facilities need to get the vaccine.
Private businesses with 100 or more workers, Biden also said, need to mandate vaccines or have their employees submit to weekly COVID-19 testing, although Occupational Safety and Health Administration, or OSHA, has yet to provide an update since the president’s announcement on how it will enforce the rule.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued an executive order on Monday prohibiting any entity, including businesses, from imposing vaccine mandates on workers or customers.
The headquarters of Southwest Airlines is in Dallas, Texas.
“The COVID-19 vaccine is safe, effective, and our best defense against the virus, but should remain voluntary and never forced,” Abbott said in a statement. The rule follows several executive orders Abbott issued over the summer banning local governments and school districts from mask or vaccination mandates—with $1,000 fines for those who fail to comply.

Psaki slams Texas and Florida for opposing federal vaccine mandate, which technically doesn't exist yet
The White House on Tuesday accused Republican governors in Texas and Florida of preventing lives from being saved by taking steps to oppose COVID-19 vaccine mandates.
While speaking to reporters at the daily press briefing, White House press secretary Jen Psaki was asked what the Biden administration would do in response to Texas Gov. Gregg Abbott issuing an order that contradicts the federal government's announced requirement that businesses with 100 or more employees force their workers to be vaccinated. Specifically, she was asked if the administration would sue Texas for opposing the federal vaccine mandate, and she did not give a direct answer.
"These requirements are promulgated by federal law, so when the president announced his vaccine mandates for businesses — that, of course, we're waiting on OSHA regulations for as a next step — that was pursuant to federal law," Psaki said.
"Our intention is to implement and continue to work to implement these requirements across the country, including in the states where there are attempts to oppose them," she said.
Psaki accused Abbott and DeSantis of "putting politics ahead of public health."
"Over 700,000 American lives have been lost due to COVID-19, including more than 56,000 in Florida and over 68,000 in Texas, and every leader should be focused on supporting efforts to save lives and end the pandemic. Why would you be taking steps that prevent the saving of lives, that make it more difficult to save lives across the country or in any state?" she said.
Psaki added that President Joe Biden would use "every lever at his disposal" to get people vaccinated and end the pandemic.
But technically speaking, there is no federal vaccine mandate lever for Biden to push, at least not yet. Though the president held a press conference announcing new vaccination mandates for private companies with more than 100 employees on Sept. 9, his administration has not yet put forward any regulations that would enact that requirement. Neither the White House, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, nor the Department of Labor has issued official guidance for the purported federal vaccine mandate, the Federalist reported last week.
Biden did sign an executive order on Sept. 9 that directs the Safer Federal Workforce Task Force to develop requirements that federal contractors "provide adequate COVID-19 safeguards to their workers performing on or in connection with a Federal Government contract or contract-like instrument." The executive order does not establish a vaccine mandate directly; rather, it instructs federal contractors to follow the guidance that the task force will issue. As for private businesses that don't contract with the federal government, the White House told the press that OSHA will issue an emergency rule to mandate vaccination, but it hasn't done so yet.
That's why Psaki didn't say the federal government would sue Texas. It's also why no state attorneys general have filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration to stop the vaccine mandate. There's nothing to sue over.
Still, many big businesses have used Biden's proclamation as cover to go ahead and implement vaccine mandates while pointing the blame at the federal government.
"Everybody loves this cover," Minneapolis employment lawyer Kate Bischoff told Bloomberg Law in September. "Many were already looking down the road at doing this, but the fact that they get to blame Biden is like manna from heaven."

South Australia's government has been plunged into turmoil just months out from the next election, with the Speaker of parliament's Lower House ousted in an extraordinary, acrimonious late-night sitting.

Labor sided with crossbench MPs — including two other former Liberals, Sam Duluk and Troy Bell — to support legislation to require the speaker to be independent of the major political parties, paving the way for Mr Cregan's ascendancy.
Premier Steven Marshall led other Liberal MPs in a walk-out from the chamber as Mr Cregan — who is a first-term MP, and the member for the Adelaide Hills seat of Kavel — was taken to the chair.
Mr Cregan, who quit the Liberal party last week, saw off the Member for Flinders, Peter Treloar, in the secret ballot.
After being led to the chair, Mr Cregan addressed the house, saying he was committed to "more scrutiny" at this "historic moment".
"It is my sincere belief that the Westminster tradition of having an impartial speaker is a vital improvement to democracy in South Australia, that this is a historic moment and that we may seize that moment at a time when emergency powers are being exercised, to bring to bear — if it is the will of parliament — more scrutiny on the executive," he said.
"I will well and truly serve this parliament. It is my hope that I will bring honour to the proceedings here.
"I take this role, as I say, without any criticism of the former speaker but simply because a call has been made by parliament tonight to send a speaker to preside who is not serving the interests of the executive.
"I have great respect for the government. I have great respect for the opposition. I hope that I will discharge my functions clearly, with great respect for all members present."
Changes will 'improve behaviour'
In the space of just days, Mr Cregan has gone from unheralded backbencher to thorn in the side of his former Liberal colleagues.
Legislation to give the new Speaker the ability to set the sitting calendar without direction from the government, allowing for more sitting days this year and next year in the lead-up to the March election, was also passed.
The developments come amid a time of political unrest in South Australia, following controversial changes to the state's ICAC and repeated calls for a code of conduct.
Former Labor-turned-independent MP Frances Bedford described the changes as a "huge step forward in improving our democracy".

115 Men Arrested In Tarrant County Online Sex Trafficking Sting
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – Law enforcement in Tarrant County arrested 115 men in an operation aimed at slowing down sex trafficking.
Operation Buyer Beware was timed to take advantage of a new state law that went into effect Sept. 1, increasing the penalty for soliciting sex from a misdemeanor, to a felony.
Investigators posed online for Operation Buyer Beware, sometimes as children, to identify suspects.
The men ranged in age from their 20’s to their 70’s, and from all different walks of life according to Tarrant County Sheriff Bill Waybourn.
While the penalty is more significant, Sheriff Waybourn and representatives from other law enforcement agencies said the real focus is to remove demand that supports human trafficking for the sex trade.
“One of the main reasons that the cartels are involved in smuggling people across the border of Texas, into Texas and other parts of the United States is to fuel the sex trafficking industry,” said Hank Sibley, a regional director for the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Sibley said DPS is currently working with agencies across the state on similar operations.
Fort Worth Police, Arlington Police, Dept. of Homeland Security, and Tarrant County Constables were all involved in the operation locally over the last few weeks.

A vaccinated Ohio man who is in dire need of a new kidney is having his surgery delayed due to the Cleveland Clinic’s new policy requiring coronavirus vaccinations for organ transplant recipients and donors.
After more than a year of pain, tests, and finally finding a match, Mike Ganim was just days away from getting a new kidney before the Cleveland Clinic announced that patients on the transplant list — as well as living donors — are now required to be vaccinated against the Chinese coronavirus, according to a report by News 5 Cleveland.
Ganim, 52, who was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease when he was 27, had his health turn for the worse in March 2020 when he developed a blood clot that sent him to the hospital. That’s when doctors at the Cleveland Clinic told him there was no time to waste, and that he needed a kidney transplant.
“The kidneys were so profound with cysts that they just pressed and pressed and pressed on his main vein and it bottlenecked it and it went all the way down into his leg,” Ganim’s wife, Debi Ganim, explained.
It reportedly took months for Ganim to get onto the donor list, but he was eventually able to make it on in October 2020. Later, Ganim found a match — Debi’s friend, Sue George — and after some additional testing over the summer, the surgery was finally scheduled for Wednesday.
But then on Friday — just five days before the operation — the Cleveland Clinic called Ganim to inform him that his surgery was being put on hold because George isn’t vaccinated against the coronavirus, Debi told WOIO-TV.
George, who is not vaccinated due to religious and medical reasons, told News 5 Cleveland that she doesn’t have anything against the doctors they have worked with, as she knows “their hands are tied, it’s just coming from upper management.”
“The clinic is making what I feel is a big mistake,” she said. “They’re putting this vaccination ahead of saving somebody’s life. I’m willing to give a body part, a kidney to this man. And they are not going to do it because I’m not taking a shot. That makes no sense.”
Debi reportedly said that her husband’s team is trying to come up with another solution — such has George undergoing surgery at another hospital, and then flying her kidney to the Cleveland Clinic.
“I’m just so afraid,” Debi said. “I’m so afraid all over again. I mean we were crying and crying so many tears of joy and gratefulness over this happening, and now it’s the opposite. I’m just so afraid.”
In an email to Breitbart News, the Cleveland Clinic issued the following statement:
The health and safety of our patients is our top priority. Cleveland Clinic has recently developed safety protocols for solid organ transplantation that require COVID-19 vaccination to be an active transplant candidate or living donor. Vaccination is particularly important in these patients for their safety. Living donation for organ transplantation has been a life-saving treatment, but it is not without risks to the donor. For the living donor, preventing COVID-19 infection around the time of their surgery and recovery is crucial. We continually strive to minimize risk to our living donors, and vaccination is an important component to ensure the safest approach and optimal outcomes for donors.
“For organ transplantation using a living donor, which involves the living donor undergoing a scheduled surgery, we are requiring COVID-19 vaccination for both donor and recipient before we can proceed with the surgery, for the safety of both,” the Clinic added.
The Cleveland Clinic did not respond to Breitbart News’ specific inquiry regarding whether it will cancel Ganim’s kidney transplant operation scheduled for Wednesday.
The news follows a report of Colorado’s UCHealth refusing a transplant surgery for a woman suffering from stage five renal failure and in dire need of a new kidney, because both she and her donor are unvaccinated.

Customers who may have purchased Parent’s Choice Rice Baby Cereal at Walmart with Lot Number 21083/UPC Code #00681131082907 and best if used by date of JUN 24 2022, Lot Number 21084/UPC Code #00681131082907 and best if used by date of JUN 25 2022, or Lot 21242 with UPC Code #00681131082907 with a best if used by date of NOV 30 2022 should discard the product or return it to Walmart for a full refund. While the test results were in compliance with the FDA’s guidelines, Maple Island Inc. is issuing this recall out of an abundance of caution. FDA has recognized that trace elements such as these are widely present in the environment, including water, soil and food. The FDA also noted that research has shown reducing exposure to toxic elements is important to minimizing any potential long-term effects on the developing brains of infants and children.

London's traditional New Year's Eve firework show will not take place again this year due to 'uncertainties caused by Covid'.
Organisers fear the event, which regularly attracts 100,000 people to the streets around Victoria Embankment, could be curtailed or cancelled at a later if Covid cases spike this winter.
Last year's event was scrapped in September and by December the country was pushed into a second lockdown.
But almost 80 per cent of people in the UK are now double-vaccinated, while large events have been operating since June.
A light and fireworks show - watched by millions on television - was held over London in place of the traditional fireworks show.
And a spokesman for Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, said his team were looking at 'exciting new options' as an alternative for this New Year's Eve.
'This year, as always, London will be welcoming the new year in a spectacular way,' the spokesperson said.
'Due to the uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, our world-famous New Year's Eve display will not be held on the banks of the Thames this year.
