Russia is not in geopolitical decline, anything but. They are the kingmaker when it comes to military strategy. Their resource base is phenomenal. They have little if any debt, and very large gold reserves. Their new Constitution is very fine, and working. Even the NATO overlords are now making noises like they want to cozy up. China needs Russia to have their back, and this anon doubts it will happen, because any China war will be an unjust war of aggression.
Relative to what? Everyone else is about to see a big chunk of the pop die off from the shots. And those things are cyclical in any event; with people who recognize their population situation, giving incentives to reproduce. Am saying that Russia's promising resource/economic position provides the foundation for such incentives and a turnaround in the birthrate.
