Reminds me of a show I say back in the early 90's? late 80's? I think? like a "The Hitchhiker" type of thing. Anyway, it was in the future & the kid was sent away for some IQ test & the kid ended up doing really well on it, but in that reality, anyone who did well, were a threat to the ones in control so the kid was never seen again.
I always felt sad but relief when I watched it because I thought how they would never take me because I wasn't smart. :(
