Renewable? Likely.

Sustainable (it renews at a predictable rate)? Not possible to know… yet.

 

Do true renewables make sense? Yes, biogenic is a renewable/sustainable feedstock.

 

Wind an Solar: No, it's intermittent at best with a limited uptime. Average for solar is less than 40%. Solar is also going to be a recycling nightmare (toxic shit, highest level).
