The bible is a collection of scripture. It's not the Word of God, but it talks about the Living Word of God. It does not contain all useful scripture, but it does contain useful scripture. The scripture was not written by those who assembled the bible.

That does not however mean that one can't see Truth in the bible. As Jesus said, all these things are DONE IN PARABLE.

Remember the tower of babylon story. They wanted to make a name for themselves (I believe for God, remember man got to name the beasts, not God) and language was confused. It's not until revelation that mystery babylon falls.

Again, Jesus said all these things are done in parable. Look past the words on the page and see the Word.
