FBI release of Nikolas Kruz Tip Line Warning

When you hear that they'd gotten a tip a month before it happened, you kind of say "that's bad" abd shrug it off. But this warning was very specific, detailing guns, online accounts, souces of money, aberrant behavior, and animal torture. The caller also mentions calling Parkland PD, just to be ignored.

Pretty interesting.

I agree with the other anon; I don't think we're supposed to come up with the exact law, but rather start the ball rolling for any law to get written.

 

That having been said, having it be written out somewhat helps. The last time around it was too vague. People are wary of having their intentions twisted to match an agenda they never called for. For instance, when the majority of the US said that "something should be done about those predatory lenders" after the housing market collapse, and Obama decided that that meant bailing out these billionaires with taxpayer money…I think people want concrete descriptions.

 

Even if we just got something passed like "mandate a mute button for all accounts", it might give the government an excuse to oversee things…
