BUT…
what Lin did might have to be placed in the proper context in order to judge it fully and accurately.
They let HIV positive people have unprotected sex with others, without even having to inform them,
and yet now they arrest a high school girl for refusing to wear a mask to school.
people have been talking about their concern for the environment in the context of pollution, for a lot longer than they have about 'climate change' due to carbon emissions.
He probably is moved by the experience of seeing with his own eyes the actual mass of the planet compared to the relatively thin atmosphere. And the old knee-jerk response emerged. And it is well founded, to be honest. The disgusting amount of pollution being dumped into rivers and thus the ocean is NOT a good thing. And the spewing of all sorts of chemical by-products from various industries on a huge scale is another concern.
I often wonder if this well-financed focusing of attention on carbon dioxide emissions is part of a BIGGER plan, to divert our attention AWAY from the real pollution problems that are poisoning the planet in a far more direct way…
