The Shatner thing looks staged, from start to finish. Sure, pot bellied Captain Kirk rode into space on a dick shaped rocket. And then no doubt he drove around in the space car. And such triumphant acclaim as he comes out of the pod that looks like it was just put there as a set. Major skeptic here.
