138 State Legislators Have Signed ‘New Declaration Of Independence’ Letter Led By Wendy Rogers

138 legislators from 38 states across America have signed what Arizona Wendy Rogers called the “new Declaration of Independence,” calling for a 50-state wide audit, decertification where appropriate, and potential convening of the US House of Representatives.

Rogers, who revealed the updated figure on Twitter Friday, introduced the letter at the end of the Arizona Audit hearing. In the letter, Rogers and the signatories call for states to audit their 2020 election results and decertify them where appropriate, and floats the possibility of a convening of the United States House of Representatives to reexamine the results of the last election.

Rubio: Biden Must Fire John Kerry for Investment in Chinese Company Linked to Uyghur Slave Labor

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) called for President Joe Biden to fire U.S. climate envoy John Kerry on Friday in an op-ed after reports emerged he has a stake in a Chinese company that funnels money into a business blacklisted for its abuses against Uyghur Muslims.

Rubio said in his op-ed that firing Kerry should not be a partisan issue over the reports claiming he and his wife have more than $1 million invested with a Hillhouse China Value Fund L.P. This Chinese investment group funnels money to one of its “top shareholders,” a Chinese technology company, YITU Technology, that was blacklisted in 2019 by the Trump administration for being “complicit in the surveillance, detention, and repression of Uyghurs and others,” meaning that the envoy “appears to be profiting from slave labor.”

During a House Oversight Hearing on counterterrorism on September 29, Mace asked Timothy Langan, assistant director of the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division about the Bureau’s approach to criminality associated with Antifa and Black Lives Matter. Langan said the FBI does not classify Antifa or Black Lives Matter as “domestic terrorist” organizations due to the Bureau’s labeling of the two groups as “movements.” He also said the FBI does not identify either leftist group as “anti-government” or “anti-authority” organizations.

Psaki promises 'to choose my words more carefully' following Hatch Act violation complaint

White House press secretary Jen Psaki promised to "choose my words more carefully" following a Friday complaint from Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), which claimed she apparently violated the Hatch Act.

In the complaint, the nonpartisan non-profit U.S. government ethics and accountability watchdog group called on the Office of Special Counsel to investigate Psaki for comments she made from the White House podium Thursday regarding the Virginia gubernatorial campaign.

In response to the complaint, Psaki told Fox News, "While the president has publicly expressed his support for McAuliffe, we’ll leave it to the press and the campaign to provide commentary on the race. I take ethics very seriously and will choose my words more carefully moving forward."

In the comments CREW took issue with, Psaki responded to a question about the Virginia gubernatorial race by first acknowledging she had "to be a little careful about how much political analysis I do" from the podium. She then went on to say, "Look, I think the president, of course, wants former Governor McAuliffe to be the future governor of Virginia.
