After over 130 movies, Michael Caine announced today that he is retiring from acting. The former Maurice Micklewhite adopted his stage name from the 1954 film "The Caine Mutiny" starring his screen idol Humphrey Bogart as an unstable commander of a WWII U.S. Navy minesweeper.
