Too early to tell anon. There are a lot of back room negotiations going on. We're only talking about Syria, not the whole ME. Potus has stated many times he wants to leave Syria. Once the terror cells there have been disrupted, we can leave. That has to do more with Iran than Syria itself. Not sure I would go as far as to say Russia covering for Potus. Putin is not our friend. I don't see him trying to assist the US.
