I worked on the horse barn in New Salem. Company I work for erected the glulam beams and put the decking and plywood on it. It was 200ft by 100ft horse barn attached to a couple other buildings. The whole project price tag I forget but was ridiculous.
My boss had to sign an NDA and he didn’t tell us who we working for until I figured it out. The daughter is ranked in the top ten in women’s equestrian. I saw her in person a couple times she’s actually kinda hot. The place felt fucking creepy though. The the GC in charge was cool and he had this bad ass Rottweiler patrolling the place. I joked the whole time with my crew that was probably going to be human sacrifices and shit in the building. Remember having the discussion about working on the death star a bunch.
