Good point anon, that’s typical in my experiences. Also, patients in ICU typically don’t get discharged from ICU they get stepped down and discharged from another unit in the hospital. Also if he was intubated he will be going through rehab. General rule of thumb is 1 week rehab/therapy for every day intubated.
