Baker's Prayer AMENDED

I give the dough of my soul to the Lord, I let Him knead it with hardship so that I may Understand His purpose.

Let the kneaded dough of my spirit rise through Him, let it bake in the furnace of my soul. My oven is stoked with the fire of the Lord's Holy Spirit.

Lord guide my way, may my fire be not too hot nor too cold, the breadcrust be perfect in Your will.

I trust You with my daily bread, I partake it in Your fulfillment with the joy to know You.

Lord help me aknowledge evil so that I may not stand it, help me digest the Apple of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

Because I know that the Apple comes from You, as does my soul and everything that I partake in.

Faith in the Lord is Truth, I will never cease to step towards It.

Help me Understand o Lord, I give my Understanding to You, for You are Beyond Perfection.

Let us ask Him to bake our daily bread.

And repeat it day after day.
