4) Thank Bill Clinton, for (NAFTA). Bill Clinton set in motion the destruction of American manufacturing. You only have to look at the dead steel towns in America to see what he did. Manufacturing companies closed, moved out of the country, or became shells.

Take RCA, one of the largest manufacturing companies in the US.It made televisions. It made the parts for televisions, it made the wooden cabinets and it made the big heavy glass tv tubes. It employed inventors and innovators, engineers and designers as well as assembly line workers. It employed thousands of American workers at great pay and those 20 year pensions.

Due to NAFTA it became cheaper to make tvs elsewhere (RCA is now made in Korea) but RCA also couldn't get American made glass to blow their tubes…because the bigger glass manufacturers closed up when China glass was cheaper. RCA plants in America became office complexes or community colleges.

RCA isn't going to bring their manufacturing back to America unless they have to. If they can't get their giant HD tvs shipped in from Korea, or rely on container shipping, and they see that shipping from Asia is NOT guaranteed, they may have to open a US manufacturing facility to survive long-term as a corporation..

At this point the squeeze is on the big companies WAY more than it is on us. So WHAT we don't get the cabbage patch doll for Christmas??..because the manufacturers and the retailers will miss out on ALL their Black Friday sales. Right now, RCA must be SCREAMING to get Joe Biden on the phone, and wishing Bill Clinton had never been born..
