Interesting Delta Flight over the Weekend.

Picture attached is of the screen on the seat in front of me. you can see a camera imbedded in the glass. What brought my attention to this fact is that once the door was closed. The captain announced "We must follow FDA Guidelines and Everyone must wear their masks appropriately". "We can see that many people are not wearing their masks all the way up".

I didn't even know that a camera was in there. I didn't even think that they would put that in. For what purpose? Did they capture my face and associate with the data that is required to fly?

Looking with a simple search, I found this article:

United Airlines And Delta Confirm That Their Premium Economy Screens Have Cameras

https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/nicolenguyen/united-delta-airlines-seat-back-screens-cameras

But the article from 2019 states:

a United spokesperson told BuzzFeed News that its cameras “have never been activated,” while Delta said that its cameras “are not functional.”

It seems that they changed their minds…

All my future flights will have a Screen Blocking Cover and I suggest you do the same.
