Colin Powell made maybe the biggest political mistake a politician ever made. Back in day, before 9/11 there was a poll showing that he was the early favorite to win the Presidency in 2008. Without that big mistake there would have never been an 0bama. Rumsfeld, and the neocons fucked up. Was it Rumsfeld who said 'it's a slam dunk? I believe it was. I watched that being said on TV. I heard it a different way than most others. I took it as his saying the slam dunk was not that Iraq had WMD but rather that's it's a slam dunk that they (and the media) could sell that lie to the American people. And what's Powell do. He allows the neocons talk him into going before the UN and make sell the lie. Not another person in the W. administration could have done it as well. Colin could have been President but he threw it all away.
