The name for the moon in October is usually the Hunter's Moon, though it may also be called the Harvest Moon every few years depending on when the September equinox occurs, The Old Farmer's Almanac states.

The Hunter's Moon always follows the Harvest Moon, so it can occur in either October or November.

The reason Vit D could be poison is because it's fat-soluble. It enters your cells (passed through the lipid membrane) and stays there. Unlike water-soluble vitamins - A D E and K are fat soluble.

So there is some truth to this (if the any of the science I learned in grad school is even true, and at this point, I'm seriously not sure it is.)
