I believe 23 & Me is looking for those of us who may have 48 (46 & 2) chromosomes as well as other potentially beneficial genetic anomalies lurking in the population.

I suspect any resulting medical advancements/therapies from this collection & research would be hoarded for an elite few not the general population (at least until this nexus of evil is irreparably shattered to a million pieces)

If Aborigines have fewer chromosomes than modern man there's no reason to doubt evolution will continue to add chromosomes… therefore 46 & 2 isn't Far Fetched AT ALL
