Washington State football coach Nick Rolovich fired for not getting COVID vaccine

Oct. 18, 2021

"Rolovich was the state of Washington’s highest paid employee with an annual salary of nearly $3 million"

Washington State head football coach Nick Rolovich has been terminated from his position due to his lack of compliance with the state’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate, according to reports from ESPN, USA Today and The Oregonian.

Washington Gov. Jay Inslee announced in August that most health care and other public employees need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to continue their employment — employees had over two months to get vaccinated before Monday’s Oct. 18 deadline.

Washington State is a public university and falls under the vaccine mandate’s purview under the “higher education personnel” category. As of Oct. 4, about 92% of state workers were in compliance with the mandate, according to Inslee.

Rolovich was hired from Hawaii two years ago, after Mike Leach left for Mississippi State, and led Washington State to a 1-3 record in the Pac-12 in a 2020 season cut short because of the pandemic. The Washington State Football Team is 4-3 and is coming off an impressive win over Pac-12 Conference rival Stanford .

Rolovich, the state’s highest paid employee with an annual salary of over $2.8 million, said he applied for a religious exemption in effort to not be vaccinated, but that claim appears to have been denied.

ESPN’s Kyle Bonagura has reported that Washington State intends to “refuse to pay out the rest of his contract,” which would likely set up a legal showdown between the school and Rolovich.

The Washington State Athletic Department and representatives for Rolovich did not immediately respond to MarketWatch’s request for comment.

Players stood up for their coach as the season progressed. Quarterback Jayden de Laura told a sideline reporter after Saturday’s win: “Stop hating on Rolo. We love him.”

Wide receiver Travell Harris commended Rolovich after the game for being a “players’ coach.”

“He’s a coach we all love to play for,” Harris said.

Corina Cretu -called Colin Powell the greatest love of her life. ahem….

She was also an EU Commissioner 2014-2019

"Colin Powell denied Thursday that he cheated on his wife of 50 years with a blond Romanian diplomat with whom he shared emails of “a very personal nature.”

Powell, 76, was forced to clarify his relationship with Corina Cretu, 46, after a notorious hacker dubbed “Guccifer” posted a link to their emails on his Facebook page.

“I’ve loved you too much, too many years. YOU were my greatest love of my life . . . ,” Cretu emailed Powell on Nov. 14, 2011.

She also sent him numerous photos of herself, including shots of her in a bikini and in a hot tub. But her affection for the retired four-star general seems to have never been reciprocated.

The emails from Powell to Cretu that have become public were chatty — until he learned his account had been hacked and advised her to delete their exchanges.

Hers had a different tone.

“I did not believe that at 43 I can cry more for a man like a teenager,” she emailed Powell on Christmas Eve 2010.

Cretu still seemed enamored in 2011. “Nobody (is) saying to go to bed. I just want to see you, nothing more,” she wrote.

TheSmokingGun.com reported Thursday that the hacker obtained the emails that were exchanged between 2010 and 2011 by raiding Powell’s personal AOL account.

In response to the website’s questions, Powell issued a statement insisting he has not been unfaithful to his wife, Alma. “This was a friendship that electronically became very personal and then back to normal,” Powell told the website.

He said he met Cretu about 10 years ago while he was President George W. Bush’s secretary of state and she was the spokeswoman for the president of Romania. He said they’ve only seen each other “once or twice” over the past eight years.

Cretu, who was elected in 2007 to the European Parliament, serves as vice chairwoman of the Parliament’s Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats. She also recently got married.

After learning his AOL account had been hacked, Powell advised Cretu it was “best to delete all between us.”

He said that after leaving the State Department in January 2005, he stayed in touch with Cretu via email and “frequently gave her advice on the prospects of finding a position with the UN or other international organizations.”

“There was no affair then, and there is not one now,” said Powell, adding that they continue to be “friends.”

The same hacker claimed responsibility in February for raiding email accounts belonging to members of the Bush family, revealing correspondence and a self-portrait of President George W. Bush in the shower."

>Colin Powell Guccifer hack

Mr Homebrew Server I; Robby Mook used Powell's email to "strengthen their case" re: Hillary's Homebrew Bathroom Server

Wikileaks Podesta emails;

https://wikileaks.org/podesta-emails/emailid/45123

"…..

2: I still think the "server" issue is dicey but will be helped if we can clarify that President Clinton had a server that SofS Clinton piggybacked on. I don't know if that if completely true but I believe it is and it makes the "server" issue sound less nefarious. They din't go out and create a server for this purpose. They built on what the President already had to keep things simple and secure.

3: Text messages. We have not talked about this but wonder if it will come up. Does this procedure encompass text messages and how would that be dealt with or is this null and void in some way. Hard to see how text and emails are treated differently and maybe in some way that bolsters our case

Subject: Sec of State Powell on his personal emails

ABC’s This Week: Colin Powell, Sunday March 8, 2015:<http://mms.tveyes.com/PlaybackPortal.aspx?SavedEditID=59e46b40-83e3-4208-9a89-ef7fdedccca0>

POWELL: I don't have any to turn over. I did not keep a cache of them. I did not print them off. I did not have thousands of pages somewhere in my personal files and, in fact, a lot of the e-mails that came out of my personal account went to the State Department system addressed to State Department employees and the state.gov<http://state.gov/domain but I don't know if the servers captured those or not. All unclassified and most of them I think are pretty benign so I'm not terribly concerned even if they were able to recover them.

STEPHANOPOULOS: I do want to ask one final question on this Hillary Clinton e-mail controversy which of course put you back in the news a bit this week, as well. You were Secretary of State during the early days of e-mails. You were one of the first secretaries I believe to set up a personal e-mail account and pushed to modernize the State Department system. Based on your experience, what do you make of these revelations this week and what would you recommend she do now?

POWELL: I can't speak to Mrs. Clinton and what she should do now. That would be inappropriate. What I did when I entered the State Department I found that antiquated system had to be modernized and quickly, so we put in place new systems, bought 44,000 computers and put a new internet capable computer on every single desk in every embassy, every office in the State Department and then I connected it with software, but in order to change the culture, to change the brain words as I call it I started using it toward to get everybody to use it to be a 21st century institution and not 19th century but I retained none of those e-mails and am working with the state department to see if there's anything else they want to discuss with me about those e-mails.

STEPHANOPOULOS: They've asked you to turn them over but you don't have them?

POWELL: I don't have any to turn over. I did not keep a cache of them. I did not print them off. I did not have thousands of pages somewhere in my personal files and, in fact, a lot of the e-mails that came out of my personal account went to the State Department system addressed to State Department employees and the state.gov<http://state.gov/domain but I don't know if the servers captured those or not. All unclassified and most of them I think are pretty benign so I'm not terribly concerned even if they were able to recover them.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Okay, Mr. Secretary, thanks very much for joining us this morning?"

Clinton piggybacked off this "hack" to divert attention away from her TREASON. I'm thinking Guccifer=CIA. They had ol Colin by the short hairs, literally
