I've had some red pilling success with the following tactic.

It does no good to come at them with baby eating or child raping stories.

Most are willing to easily accept government corruption so it's the beat place to start. The other stuff can come much later.

My first line goes something like this "Surely you're not naive enough to believe a politician cares about you"

That puts them on the defensive and then they have to agree with you that politicians don't care.

I then proceed to tell them that there aren't 2 parties in DC. There's just one big cabal that claims to be either democrat or Republican to keep constituents divided and keep them in power. Now I have thier attention. I just attacked both democrats and republicans so they can't argue that I'm a Republican hack.

Then I start with questions. It's far more effective than stating facts. As Q has shown us, asking questions forces one to get their own facts. "

I ask if they have ever questioned how politicians get so rich on $x salary. I then give them examples from both parties who had 150k salaries and now are multi millionaires. The scales begin to fall off thier eyes and they start to wake up.

Choose 2-3 more questions that you know they can easily find the answer to and then back off and let them cook.

Many have come back to me with their own questions so be informed and prepared. This works to begin the redpilling process. As you develope a relationship and trust then you can add some of the gruesome red pills.
