Gist of it is that due to Emergency ChinaVirus Measures during last 18+ months, ALL STUDENTS k-12 now qualify as disabled under Americans With Disability Act and therefore are entitled to Special Accomodation which must be paid by muh school districts! Why swap one evil for another? Find local poultry producers in your area to buy farm raised without antibiotics/hormones. Same for beef and pork. Just bought a side of grass fed beef for $4.97/lb.

True. Every beef rancher I've bought from would sell quarters and even smaller quantities like roasts, steaks and ground beef for families that cannot afford a whole or a side. The guy I'm buying from now gives free samples to prospective customers as well. People just need to get out there and meet/strike a deal with the ranchers. Contact your local meat processors like the ones that process wild game. That is who local ranchers use to slaughter/cut/wrap and freeze the product.

No Amish in my area. I live out west. You can't swing a dead cat around buy the tail without hitting a local rancher. We've been buying from local ranchers for a decade+ now. It's not about survival per se. More about quality and cost. $4.97/lb for a side of grass fed beef, you can't even buy a pound of antibiotic/hormone laden ground beef for that price in a store.
