American Billionaires Added $2.1 Trillion to Their Fortunes During the Pandemic

American billionaires’ wallets have had a good year, with their fortunes growing by 70%.

That’s according to a new report from the left-leaning Institute for Policy Studies (IPS) and Americans for Tax Fairness, which tracks gains from March 18, 2020 to October 15, 2021. The groups analyzed real time data from Forbes on gains by the ten-figure club to find that billionaires in the US added a cumulative $2.1 trillion to their net worths during the pandemic.

It’s the latest data point showing that the world’s richest grew both in ranks and in fortune. In April, IPS released a report that found the world’s billionaires added $4 trillion to their wealth from March 18, 2020 to March 18, 2021. Research firm Wealth-X found that the number of billionaires in the world rose to over 3,000 in 2020 – a new record. The US alone rose from 614 billionaires in March 2020 to 745 this month.

Bennett Meets With Top Health Officials After Case of New COVID Sub-strain Found in Israel

An 11-year-old Israeli was identified with the AY4.2 sub-strain of the coronavirus, which accounts for 8 percent of U.K. COVID cases

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett is holding a meeting with top health officials for Wednesday night to discuss the discovery on Tuesday of the first case of the AY4.2 sub-strain of the COVID-19 delta variant in the country.

Bennett is joined by Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz, Health Minsitry Director General Chezy Levy, public health chief Sharon Alroy-Preis, COVID czar Salman Zarka and others.

An 11-year-old Israeli was diagnosed with AY4.2, a sub-strain of the delta variant on Tuesday, upon his return from Moldova. However, no other cases of infection were identified, the Health Ministry said.

Prof. Ran Balicer, who heads Israel's COVID-19 expert advisory panel, tweeted that while the AY4.2 accounts for 8 percent of the U.K.'s cases, the strain has not yet been identified in the U.S.

Experience has taught Israel that the infiltration of new variants into the country is most often meaningless.

On Wednesday, Republican Reps. Jim Jordan (OH) and Matt Gaetz (FL) joined a hearing at the House Committee on Rules to argue against a resolution by Pelosi’s sham Jan. 6 committee that would hold Steve Bannon in contempt of Congress for defying a congressional subpoena.

The committee wants Steve Bannon to appear so they can harass him for his supposed role in the Left’s crazed “insurrection” fantasy. Meanwhile, the hack committee refuses to acknowledge – let alone investigate – Pelosi’s role in preventing National Guard to protect the US Capitol that day or how 4 Trump supporters died that day — including two women who were killed by Capitol police.

The entire “investigation” is a joke, and Rep. Jordan did his best to point that out to the American public when he got his chance to speak today.

He did not hold back during his testimony, calling the partisan investigation a “complete assault on American’s liberty” that is “scary” because of where Democrats have already proven they are willing to go against their political opponents.

“The actions of the Jan. 6th committee are a complete assault on American’s liberty.

This is scary where they want to go and what they are doing to American’s constitutional rights.”

Jordan keenly observes and points out that the bogus commission is just running cover for the left’s policy failures and Biden’s complete disaster of a presidency. He brilliantly walks through several top-line issues that the left is attempting to downplay, calling them out for using the fake ‘insurrection’ narrative as a way to shamelessly deflect and not talk about the real issues.

WashPost: Official Leak Shows Biden’s Record Migrant Inflow

President Joe Biden’s deputies have invited roughly 570,000 migrants across the southern border since January, amid a worldwide epidemic and economic crisis, according to federal data leaked to the Washington Post.

The Biden migration was boosted by lax border security which allowed at least 450,000 additional migrants to sneak across the border. Many of those so-called “got-aways” were allowed to make repeated, unpunished efforts to sneak past the thin screen of distracted border guards.

The inflow of roughly 1 million job-seeking, wage-cutting migrants was hidden under a record-breaking total of 1.7 million official “encounters” with migrants at the border, according to the Post‘s article, “Historic data shows fiscal year 2021’s figure was the highest total ever recorded.”

The federal government’s fiscal year ends each September 30, and re-starts October 1.

Border officials have the legal authority to exclude nearly all migrants. But Biden’s progressive deputies have instead welcomed roughly 39 percent of the 1.7 million poor migrants, even as many other unlucky migrants die on the trail to the border or get sent home deep in debt to the smugglers.

Many agencies leak information to the Washington Post to influence national media coverage. In this case, the record-breaking border arrivals of 1.7 million were finally leaked mid-month as Democratic leaders announced details of their record-breaking plan to spend almost $2 trillion — or $2,000,000 million — to expand government services. Much of the new spending is aimed at poor people who have been made poor by the governments’ immigration policies.

The inflow of at least 1 million migrants delivered roughly one migrant for every 3.5 births in the United States during 2021.

The inflow is in addition to the Biden administration’s choice to revive legal immigration — roughly 1 million per year — and the inflow of foreign temporary workers holding H-1B and other work permits. All told, Biden’s deputies likely imported 2 million foreigners into the United States, even as tens of millions of Americans are struggling to find good jobs, pay for homes or rent, and to persuade politicians to vote in their pocketbook interests.

Biden’s overall inflow is roughly five times the level seen in 2020 under President Donald Trump.

Report: ABC, CBS, NBC Report ‘0 Seconds’ on Joe and Hunter Shared Bank Account

Establishment news networks, ABC, CBS, and NBC, have reportedly spent “0 seconds” reporting on Joe and Hunter Biden’s alleged shared bank account, the Republican National Committee’s (RNC) research team found Tuesday.

The establishment networks have ignored that Joe Biden may be embroiled in the FBI’s ongoing investigation of Hunter finances, experts have said, detailing the emails related to Hunter’s reported “laptop from hell,” which indicates Hunter and Joe have shared a bank account. The bank account may be connected to Hunter’s elicit activities.

As Breitbart News reported in one exchange, Hunter alleged he and his father were both using a single bank account. The New York Post reported in July:

[D]ocuments on the laptop suggest a mingling of Joe’s finances with Hunter’s.

In an e-mail on April 12, 2018, to his assistant Katie Dodge, Hunter complains that he has been “shut out” of one his Wells Fargo bank accounts.

“Too many cooks in the kitchen. Too many profile changes and such. Happened 10 days ago too . . . My dad has been using most lines on this account which I’ve through the gracious offerings of Eric have paid for past 11 years.”

It is unknown who purchased the paintings, but a source told the Post the majority of those “allowed to buy works are long-term, private collectors with the gallery, people that Berges knows personally.”

Australia calls out Chinese coercion

Australia has called out Chinese coercion in a blistering statement to the World Trade Organisation.

In a rare frank assessment by the federal government, Canberra has accused Beijing now of being politically motivated in its 18 month campaign of coercion targeting Australian exporters.

This was a two-page statement released to the World Trade Organisation and it laid out the long lists of Australian exports that have been caught in this $20 billion trade retaliation taken against Australia – including wine, beef, barley and lobster.

Beijing has made no secret of the fact that its unhappy with Australia’s foreign interference laws – releasing a list of 14 grievances targeted at Australia.

The Australian government has told the WTO that no country no matter its size should be able to demand these sort of conditions of another member.

US At-Tanf Base in Syria Attacked With Missiles by 'Iran-Backed Militias', CENTCOM Says

Reports on social media indicated that the American garrison at At-Tanf had come under attack late on Wednesday night by a number of unmanned aerial vehicles.

According to local reports, as many as five drones were involved in the attack, including at least one suicide drone, with “some coming from Iraq-Syria border," a source told a BBC reporter. There are no reports of casualties at present.

The identity of the attackers is so far unknown. A spokesperson for US Central Command told Sky News Arabia that initial assessments suggested "Iran-backed militias" had attacked the base. However, they indicated that missiles, not drones, had been used.

The remote desert base, located along the M2 Baghdad-Damascus highway near Syria's border with Iraq and Jordan, has been held by American troops since early 2016, when the base was used to train so-called "moderate rebels" fighting against the Syrian government of President Bashar al-Assad.

Last week, an Israeli Air Force air attack against Syrian infrastructure near Palmyra was launched from near the at-Tanf base. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Israel used the cover of civilian aircraft passing through the same airspace in order to deny Syrian air defense systems the opportunity to shoot down their missiles.

On October 14, the command of the Allied Operations Room of Syria, the pro-Syrian, anti-Daesh* alliance of forces that includes advisers from Hezbollah and Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), pledged to respond to the Palmyra attack.
