The first thing that needs to happen is to get the government out of the education business.

Even the whole voucher thing has it's flaws.

Any time we take money from the government (which is really our own money to begin with) there are strings attached.

The best thing to do is to reject government interference.

I don't know how this is going to happen. It seems like a monumental task. But Government Schools are a Socialist idea with a Socialist Agenda.

As individuals, I think the best thing that we can actually do, not just a pie in the sky idea, but actually do, is take our kids out of the Socialist Government School System and find an alternate way to educate our children.

Do it today. Don't wait.

Actually, the schooling system wasnโ€™t a failure at all and did exactly what it intended to do, as John Gatto is well aware of.

โ€œThe Origin of Compulsory Schooling

โ€œIn our dream we have limitless resources, and the people yield themselves with perfect docility to our molding hand. The present educational conventions fade from our minds; and, unhampered by tradition, we work our own good will upon a grateful and responsive rural folk. We shall not try to make these people or any of their children into philosophers or men of learning or of science. We are not to raise up among them authors, orators, poets, or men of letters. We shall not search for embryo great artists, painters, musicians. Nor will we cherish even the humbler ambition to raise up from among them lawyers, doctors, preachers, statesmen, of whom we now have ample supply."

- Rev. Frederick T. Gates, Business Advisor to John D. Rockefeller Sr., 1913 [1]

The current American school system took root around the turn of the century. In 1903, John D. Rockefeller founded the General Education Board, which provided major funding for schools across the country and was especially active in promoting the State-controlled public school movement.

The General Education Board was not interested in encouraging critical thinking. Rather, its focus was on organizing children and creating reliable, predictable, obedient citizens. As award-winning former teacher John Gatto puts it, โ€œschool was looked upon from the first part of the 20th Century as a branch of industry and a tool of governance.โ€ The Rockefellers, along with other financial elite and their philanthropic organizations (such as the Gates, Carnegies, and Vanderbilts) have been able to mold society by funding and pushing compulsory state schooling for the masses.โ€

'I was furious': Mom enraged after learning teacher taped a face mask to her child's face

By Samantha Chang, The Western Journal

A Las Vegas mom is furious after learning that a substitute fourth-grade teacher humiliated her 9-year-old son by taping a mask to his face in front of the classroom as other students laughed.

The shocking incident unfolded at Reedom Elementary School in Mountain's Edge, Nevada, the mother told KVVU-TV. It's the latest example of the callous authoritarianism that's festering at public schools under the guise of enforcing coronavirus restrictions.

The mom spoke on condition to anonymity to the outlet in order to protect her son's identity and prevent him from further traumatization.

โ€œHe went to get a sip of water, forgot to put the mask on," she said. "The teacher did not tell him to put it back on or send him to the office.

"She instead pulled him up in front of the classroom in front of all of the students. She then taped the mask across the top of his face."

The mother said the substitute teacher added a second layer of tape from her son's nose to his forehead. She wants the instructor fired for child abuse.

When her son recounted the incident, the mother was horrified to learn that taping masks to children's faces has been happening in his classroom since the beginning of the school year.

She was especially enraged after learning that the punitive ritual was apparently designed to embarrass and shame forgetful children. Her son told her that this same terrifying bullying had happened to at least five other students.

โ€œI was furious, furious," she said. "I was scared for my son on what kind of long-term effect it is going to have on him socially, the fact that the entire class was laughing. โ€ฆ He was crying, he was humiliated."

The mom said she's not opposed to face masks in general, because this is not a political issue for her.

Rather, she's angry that children at Reedom Elementary School have been punished and humiliated simply for forgetting to wear their face masks all day.

The mom filed a police report and is considering taking legal action against the school to make sure this outrageous child abuse does not continue.

โ€œIt's crazy. Corporal punishment in schools should not be happening,โ€ she said.

The school district, which said it's investigating the incident, released this statement to KVVU: "The district is aware of the isolated incident and is dealing with the employee through the proper channels. The principal proactively notified the family of the investigation."

Baby steps wake up the normies.

MSM more likely to cover this than someone who is ranting and raving about anything and everything.

If the mom wasn't a normie, she wouldn't have her kid in the Socialist Public School System to begin with. She would be awake to the fact that they are brainwashing factories.

People need to reclaim their children from the government.

It can be done.

via small private schools,

via small private religious schools,

via homeschooling

Once a person decides to put their children's future ahead of their own ambitions, they will find a way to do it.
