I had to venture out today to purchase some items. (I live in very blue small tourist town surrounded by a many others of the same, but an easy drive from many populated areas.) I was the only person not wearing a mask and I was in 4 different cities (and yes they are all separate cities) within 30 mins (out of season, which it is now) from my home.

I chatted a few minutes with a business owner of one such city. This man is a lifer local/democrat, very involved local government at a small business level.

What I found interesting today was he has changed from saying "We need to get back to normal" to "We need to get back to surviving".

Is this the Great Awakening?
