One of the biggest fears our enemies have, is the fact that so many of us are armed, and many are armed to the teeth and KNOW how to use them.

Gee, I guess the framers of the constitution knew what they were doing huh?

You know, it's a funny thing, this country has never really had many Catholic presidents. I wonder why. Don't know if it means anything or is even relevant, but considering the things we've learned so far, it is an interesting question to ponder. Kennedy was one of the only ones who ever was, and he got killed. Is that meaningful? I don't know.

Think about this. Most people have heard about Sodom and Gomorrah, but few I think have ever considered WHY they were singled out for destruction. Was it because of all the homos in the city? Nah, there were apparently plenty of other cities that had homos, so WHY those cities?

Attitude.

What was their attitude toward God and sin? There are basically two possible mindsets regarding sin.

  1. Acknowledging something is a sin but still doing it.

  2. Denying something is a sin and then doing it. Self justifying.

Which do you think God hates the most? Think like a parent. You tell your kid not to do something, the kids says, "Up yours," and does what they want, or, the kid who breaks the rule but acknowledges he messed up.

Truth vs denial.

Wrong. There is a God, but you can believe whatever you want. You don't have to answer to me, on the other hand, you WILL have to answer to Him one day. Good luck with that.

This is also something I have been considering. Think of it like a castle siege. If we can be self sustaining, production wise, then an enemy can't starve us out like what usually happened, unless a city or castle had enough stores. Our enemies can't, or won't attack us directly because it would be a tough fight and they may not like their odds of winning. So, the only other real tactic that could work, would be to make us dependent on EXTERNAL sources, shipped in, to maintain our every day lives. Untenable, and undesirable. We MUST be self sustaining or we are at the mercy of whoever supplies us.

Wow, of all the things you could have picked to, "argue," about, you pick gender. What a surprise. This quote is perfect for you.

Mat 23:24  Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

Mat 23:25  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.

Mat 23:26  Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

Mat 23:27  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

Mat 23:28  Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
