So if the Earth is spinning around then I should be able to raise my helicopter and the Earth will spin as my helicopter stands still.

 

But wait.. the atmosphere is obviously dragged along with it otherwise there would be 200 mph winds on the planet.

 

But yet, when planes fly against the sky "current" it doesn't require more fuel or money?
