True, but Milgram's experiment also showed that it only takes one person to say NO while the other watch to get them to follow suit. As I recall from other psychological studies, this was called "the bystander effect."
This is why the belief in free will is so fundamentally important to humanity. While its true that 99% of our daily behavior is regulated unconsciously and largely determined by habit, its that less than 1% of the time when belief in free will makes all the difference in the world.
