An email shows that Loudoun County Public School’s (LCPS) board was informed about an alleged sexual assault, though the board denies that it was aware of “specific details” relating to the incident.

 

LCPS’ Superintendent Scott Ziegler sent an email to the school board May 28, the day that a Stone Bridge High School student alleges she was sexually assaulted in the bathroom, the email shows. The email alerted the school board of the alleged assault and the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) involvement, according to WTOP.

 

“The purpose of this email is to provide you with information regarding an incident that occurred at Stone Bridge HS. This afternoon a female student alleged that a male student sexually assaulted her in the restroom,” Ziegler said in the email. “The LCSO is investigating the matter.”

WASHINGTON — Neera Tanden, the former president of the Center for American Progress whose nomination as White House budget director was pulled earlier this year, has been named President Joe Biden’s staff secretary, a White House official confirmed Friday.

 

Tanden has been working in the White House since May as a senior adviser to the president. Her added responsibility as the staff secretary is to control the flow of documents to Biden and other senior staff.

"The lawsuit argues that the Biden Administration’s refusal to use appropriated funds to build the border wall is a violation of the separation of powers and the Take Care clause of the Constitution, is arbitrary and capricious, and fails to spend appropriations mandated by the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2020 and 2021," the Missouri Attorney General's office said in a press release.

According to The New York Times:

 

…hackers had gained access to a private version of the social network, creating fake accounts for Mr. Trump; the far-right personality Stephen K. Bannon; Ron Watkins, the QAnon conspiracy theorist; and Twitter’s chief executive, Jack Dorsey, who barred Mr. Trump from Twitter after his supporters stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6.

 

Using a false “donaldjtrump” account, hackers posted images of defecating pigs, wrote expletive-laced rants aimed at Mr. Dorsey and inquired about the whereabouts of the former first lady Melania Trump. Images of the hackers’ handiwork were circulated on other social media platforms.

 

The site was set to launch in 2022, but a “preorder” waiting list was posted on the App store Wednesday. Gleaning clues from that post, Anonymous was able to track down a prerelease version of the site and expose its lack security standards.

 

“We had a fun time trolling it to high heaven,” Aubrey Cottle, a hacker affiliated with Anonymous who goes by the alias Kirtaner, told The Times.
