General Electric Workers Stage Walkout in Protest of Vaccine Mandates

Dozens of General Electric (GE) employees walked out of work in protest of coronavirus vaccine mandates on Thursday morning.

The protest took place at GE’s Greenville plant, as dozens of workers walked out. The demonstration grew, as “about 100 people” ended up gathering.

“If you want to work with the federal government and do business with us, get vaccinated. If you want to do business with the federal government, vaccinate your workforce,” Biden said during his divisive coronavirus speech in September.

According to The State, the exact number of employees among the larger crowd of protesters was not immediately clear, as the group included older people, as well as children.

However, the outlet reported that “handfuls of people walked from the GE plant wearing blue uniforms, and some were seen in cars leaving the property.”

Speaking of the walkout, a spokesperson for GE maintained that the company will comply with Biden’s coercive mandate:

As a federal contractor, GE is complying with the executive order which requires employees of federal contractors to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. All GE U.S. employees will be fully vaccinated or receive a medical or religious accommodation by December 8th as required in the order.

According to the outlet, the spokesperson did not say whether the employees would face disciplinary action.

The walkout comes as the country awaits the OSHA rule, forcing businesses with over 100 employees to be vaccinated or undergo weekly testing.

Governor Ron DeSantis says his state is ready to help with the supply chain crunch facing the country, which comes in the form of capacity and incentives to ships stuck off of the coast of California near the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.

DeSantis warned FNC’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight” that the shortages could impact the holiday shopping season.

“So we have capacity at all of our ports. Remember, Tucker, they made a big deal about LA going to start doing 24/7,” he said. “We always do 24/7 in Florida. We’ve got capacity, and all of our ports can offer these businesses good incentives if they reroute their ships.

“We’ve already had some ships rerouted,” DeSantis continued. “We expect to have more, but if you’re going to sit off the coast for days on end, you might as well just bring it to Florida. We’ve got great logistics on the ground that can get it to market, and we’re happy to be able to step up because there are empty shelves. This is driving inflation. This is going to cause shortages. We already see shortages, it’s going to affect the Christmas season, so I think Florida can be part of the solution here.”

Tony Blair Claims Getting Vaccinated Is ‘Civic Duty’

Former Labour Prime Minister Tony Blair has said that it is Britons’ “civic duty” to be vaccinated and that the country should be administering 500,000 booster shots every day.

The former prime minister made the remarks after his foundation, the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, published a paper on Thursday calling for an acceleration to booster administration and pushing for further vaccination of children and pregnant women.

Speaking to Sky News’s Kay Burley on Thursday, Mr Blair said that the government should be publishing the data on vaccination and its link to public health, claiming: “Your failure to get vaccinated doesn’t just put you at risk… it’s also other people.”

“I understand people’s objections, but at some point, you have to say to people: the evidence is crystal clear. There’s no serious person disputing [the effectiveness of vaccination]. To get vaccinated is almost part of your civic duty.”

The former Labour leader also quoted recommendations from his institute’s paper “Boosting the UK’s Covid Measures: How to Go Further, Faster and Protect the NHS”, saying that the Conservative government should “accelerate” the booster programme, noting that “we’re doing about 165, 000 a day. We think you need to take that up to 500,000 and you could do that if you put in place the right mechanisms.”

“We need to accelerate the vaccination of children. We’re falling quite far behind, now, France, Italy, and Germany in the vaccination of 12- to 17-year-olds,” Blair told Ms Burley.

Border Patrol Apprehends 90K Migrants in 18 Days

A source within Customs and Border Protection notes the Border Patrol is off to a record start for Fiscal Year 2022 compared to last October. The source says Border Patrol has apprehended more than 90,000 migrants in the first 18 days of the reporting year–exceeding the 69,049 apprehended in the entire month of October 2020.

In the Yuma Sector, the source says more than 12,000 migrants were encountered in 18 days. In all of October 2020, only 788 were apprehended within that sector, a more than 1,400 percent increase.

The jump in statistics is being felt in other areas of the southwest border as well. In the Rio Grande Valley, the busiest sector for the Border Patrol, the source reports more than 26,000 were apprehended during the first weeks of FY2022. Many choose to surrender, hoping for a quick release due to the overwhelming flow of migrants to detention centers.

The number of apprehensions in the Rio Grande Valley in 18 days is nearly 50 percent higher than all of October 2020. During the entire month of October 2020, 17,619 were apprehended in that sector.

On average, more than 5,000 migrants are encountered daily nationwide. More than half are single adults. Family units comprise the next largest demographic, according to the source.

The Yuma Border Patrol Sector is showing the most significant increase in apprehensions and migrant releases into the United States. As reported by Breitbart Texas, of the more than 12,000 apprehended in Yuma since October 1, a federal source says less than 600 were swiftly expelled to Mexico under the CDC Title 42 COVID-19 emergency order.

More than 11,000 migrants apprehended in Yuma were processed under traditional legal pathways allowing the migrant family units and unaccompanied migrants to pursue asylum. The source says most are released into the United States as they await the adjudication process.

Fiscal Year 2021, which ended in September, was the busiest on record for apprehensions made within the nine southwest Border Patrol sectors. The official tally for those apprehensions has yet to be released by Customs and Border Protection but unofficial statistics provided to Breitbart Texas by a highly placed DHS source show agents and CBP officers encountered nearly 1.96 million nationwide.

Wrong Wall, Joe: DHS Paid Nearly $500K In Taxpayer Funds to Build “Security Fencing” Around Biden’s Delaware Beach House After Canceling All Remaining Border Wall Contracts

The Department of Homeland Security has awarded a nearly half-million-dollar contract to a local construction company in order to build a large fence around Biden’s private beach house in Rehoboth, Delaware. The property is also known as Biden’s “summer white house” according to the bootlickers in his administration.

On September 21st, the agency allocated $456,548 in taxpayer funds to “Turnstone Holdings LLC” for the “purchase and installation of security fencing at 32 Fairview, Rehoboth Delaware.” The agreement – which is available to view on USAspending.gov – does not provide any specific breakdowns of cost or services rendered. The construction is scheduled to be completed by December 31st, 2021.

“The DHS is listed as the main awarding and funding office of the contract while the US Secret Service is listed as the subagency. Additional information and details about the fence have not been publicly released.

For security reasons, the Secret Service declined to discuss their “protective means and methods” with The Post when asked for comment.

DHS did not immediately respond to The Post’s inquiry about the contract.”

The contract was awarded just shortly before the DHS announced that it would be terminating all remaining border wall contracts – Gotta find the money somewhere right?

Representative Elaine Luria, the Democrat who currently holds Virginia’s 2nd District in the US House, claimed that Youngkin was being anti-Semitic for even bringing up George Soros, despite his clear and obvious funding of leftist political actors.

“I call it out in my own party and I’m calling it out now,” Luria tweeted. “Evoking George Soros as a shadowy funder is an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory. This is an unacceptable statement from Glenn Youngkin.”

ERDOGAN THREATENS TO KICK OUT 10 WESTERN AMBASSADORS OVER JAILED "SOROS LEFTOVER" BILLIONAIRE OSMAN KAVALA

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is lashing out at the United States and European countries for their joint statement demanding the immediate release of billionaire philanthropist and businessman Osman Kavala, who has been in Turkish custody since 2017.

Erdogan lambasted the demand, saying "Those who defend this Soros leftover are trying to get him released. I told our foreign minister that we cannot afford to host them in our country." He questioned, "Why would the 10 ambassadors make such a statement?"

Erdogan lashed out further in front of reporters as cited in Anadolu Agency: "How dare you teach such a lesson to Turkey? Who are you? What do they say? 'Release Kavala.' Do you leave the bandits, murderers, terrorists in your own countries?"

As to the veiled threat about about not being able to "host them in our country," Ankara has signaled to foreign embassies it's ready to make good on this, with the Turkish Foreign Ministry on Tuesday summoning an unprecedented ten diplomats to discuss and protest the matter. They were reportedly told the joint statement "irresponsible" and "unacceptable".

The statement protesting Kavala's continued custody was signed by representatives of the US, Germany, France, Canada, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, and New Zealand. Social media messages calling for the philanthropist's release were further posted by the embassies.

Crucially the joint message questioned the state of democracy and human rights within the country that is NATO's second most powerful militarily.

As of today, Osman Kavala has been detained for four years. His ongoing case has cast a shadow over democracy and rule of law in Turkey.

EHUD BARAK'S RELATIONSHIP WITH JEFFREY EPSTEIN DETAILED IN NEW BOOK

According to a new book by journalist Michael Wolff, former Israeli prime minister Barak said he and Epstein have "nothing to worry about. The secrets are safe."

Former prime minister Ehud Barak was a “frequent guest, almost a fixture” at convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s mansion in New York before Epstein’s death in 2019, according to a new book by journalist Michael Wolff.

Too Famous: The Rich, The Powerful, The Wishful, The Damned, The Notorious – Twenty Years of Columns, Essays and Reporting, to be released on Tuesday, features Barak’s relationship with Epstein in great detail.

According to Wolff, Barak worked hard to rehabilitate Epstein’s image following a Miami Herald story in 2017 that broke the allegation of rape, molestation and sex trafficking of underage girls that turned into an arrest in July 2019.

Epstein and Barak, along with the former’s lawyer, Reid Weingarten, reportedly asked Steve Bannon, former White House chief strategist and senior counselor to the president who they described as a “new friend,” for a PR strategy to publicly exonerate Epstein.

Barak, who reportedly excused Epstein’s crimes as merely prostitution and claimed it is “no longer called prostitution… it is something else, much worse,” once joked to Epstein that they have “nothing to worry about” as the secrets “are safe,” according to Wolff.

Barak and Epstein also reportedly claimed that former US attorney-general William Barr was the most powerful man in the United States during Donald Trump’s presidency.

FACEBOOK ANNOUNCES CREEPY NEW AI CENSORSHIP FOR GROUPS

Facebook seems to be attempting to respond to the most recent round of criticism against it and deflect from it by “doing more” with an announcement that new censorship measures are on its way.

This time they concern groups, whose members’ posts will be demoted if Facebook determines that they had violated its guidelines in other places on the giant network – meaning that their group-posted content can still be in line with Facebook’s rules, without having broken any. The downranking will apply to all content posted by these users in a group.

The intent is to isolate group members from their peers in the same community for what Facebook determines were transgressions committed elsewhere. By isolating group members in this way, visibility and therefore communication would be reduced inside groups, especially those Facebook or its critics and entities exerting pressure on it disapprove of – since such users’ content would already have been penalized elsewhere on the network.

Facebook would like to make groups an important part of its platform, but critics say they are the breeding ground for toxicity, extremism and divisiveness and are pressuring the company to impose stricter censorship rules.

Another move that Facebook is making to appease its detractors is to essentially co-opt group admins and moderators as unpaid content moderators.

They will now have at their disposal a tool called Flagged by Facebook which admins will be able to use to censor group members before Facebook (having already flagged the content for removal) does, and slap those misbehaving with “strikes.”

With Flagged by Facebook, admins will on one hand be able to see the flagged content and try to react to prevent censorship, and will be incentivized to do so because strikes received by groups members affect the status of the group itself.

The giant still allows admins to file appeals and, as reports put it, ask Facebook “to explain why the post breaks its rules.”

Bearing in mind the utter disregard Big Tech social platforms have had for such questions and appeals, it’s not likely that this feature will be of any particular use to group admins and moderators.

Clown Show: US Intelligence Agencies Release New Report on Dangers of Global Warming Just Weeks After Losing Afghanistan to Taliban

The Defense Department, Homeland Security, National Security Council and Director of National Intelligence released a report on Thursday detailing the severe threats of global warming on the United States and the world.

This major report was released by the Defense and Intel communities after they most recently failed to predict the Taliban would take over Afghanistan in only a few weeks.

And now they release this non-serious report on global warming.

Maybe it’s time to cut back on the funding of these bloated bureaucracies?

The Earth’s warming and resulting natural disasters are creating a more dangerous world of desperate leaders and peoples, the Biden administration said Thursday in the federal government’s starkest assessments yet of security and migration challenges facing the United States as the climate worsens.

The Defense Department for years has called climate change a threat to U.S. national security. But Thursday’s reports by the departments of Defense and Homeland Security, National Security Council and Director of National Intelligence provide one of the government’s deepest looks yet at the vast rippling effects on the world’s stability and resulting heightened threats to U.S. security, as well as its impact on migration.

They include the first assessment by intelligence agencies on the impact of climate change, identifying 11 countries of greatest concern from Haiti to Afghanistan.

Another report, the first by the government focusing at length on climate and migration, recommends a number of steps, including monitoring the flows of people forced to leave their homes because of natural disasters, and working with Congress on a groundbreaking plan that would add droughts, floods and wildfires and other climate-related reasons to be considered in granting refugee status.

The climate migration assessments urge the creation of a task force to coordinate U.S. management of climate change and migration across government, from climate scientists to aid and security officials.
