I been there once for a meeting (in DC, on 11th street if recall - anyhow, just north of the Mall). Anyhoo, was in a 3rd floor conference room, and they had this gizmo that vibrated the windows overlooking the street. They said it was to prevent laser microphones from picking up conference room sounds from across teh street. I guess you can read room vibrations from a window using a laser?
