This asshole threatens his constituents when they ask him questions or speak up. When he hosts town halls or meetings and somebody attempts to speak with Hutchinson he will typically attempt to intimidate them by looking to his left or right asking whatever staff or officer is with him to "please get their name and information for me". If you call his office they will almost not even talk to you unless you give them your name, address and email. This is an intimidation campaign against residents of the state of Arkansas because he wants them to second guess standing up to his decisions, critiquing his leadership or asserting facts or science that don't play well with democratic narratives.
When Sara runs in the state of Arkansas she is going to be so well received, and Asa knows this shit. He's enforcing the will of his puppet masters because he's on the way out.
If he was smart at all he would be delivering on what the people want so that when he inevitably cheats in the next election it's somewhat believable that he won his race.
At this point Sara Huckabee can't come fast enough.
