The Emmy award winning actor passed following a two year long battle with cancer

Scolari was nominated three times for an Emmy for the sitcom Newhart

He won an Emmy for his role playing Lena Dunham's on-screen father Tad Horvath on Girls in 2016

 

Bosom Buddies star and Emmy award winning actor Peter Scolari has passed at the age of 66 following a two year long battle with cancer.

His manager, Ellen Lubin Sanitsky at Wright Entertainment, confirmed his death, according to Variety.

Scolari, who died Friday morning, starred opposite Tom Hanks in the cancelled comedy show Bosom Buddies, which saw the two actors play men dressing in drag in order to live in an affordable, women-only property.

IDK, except your church is run by satanic pedophiles, so i imagine they slipped in some of their evil symbolism and had their bishops or priests say that is okay to do it that way.

Alec Baldwin is cooperating with police in the prop gun shooting death on 'Rust' set

 

Expressing "shock and sadness" at the incident that has shaken Hollywood, actor Alec Baldwin says he is cooperating with the police investigation into the shooting on a New Mexico movie set that killed the film's cinematographer and injured its director.

 

Baldwin, who is also a producer of the movie, Rust, fired a prop gun during filming on Thursday afternoon outside of Santa Fe, police said.

 

Halyna Hutchins, the film's director of photography, was airlifted Thursday afternoon to University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque, where she was pronounced dead, according to authorities.

Alec Baldwin ‘Rust’ Movie Fatal Shooting May Have Been Recorded, Cops Say; Search Warrant Issued For Santa Fe Location, Cameras, Phones & More

 

The Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office is searching to find out whether footage exists of the fatal shooting Thursday on the New Mexico set of the Alec Baldwin film Rust.

 

In an affidavit for a search warrant, Detective Joel Cano on Friday asked the state courts to allow him “to confirm if the incident that took place was or wasn’t recorded.”

 

The indoor rehearsal scene October 21 at the Bonanza Creek Ranch saw Baldwin handed a prop gun that “discharged” and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Director Joel Souza was also injured in the incident inside the “grey/brown” structure on the Ranch location, as the search warrant issued by Santa Fe County Magistrate John Rysanek calls it.
