Twitter Suspends Rep. Jim Banks and Censors Marjorie Taylor Greene for Pointing Out That “The First-Ever Female 4 Star Admiral,” Rachel Levine, is a MAN

This week, Twitter cracked down on two sitting US House Representatives for factually acknowledging that Biden’s assistant health secretary of the HHS – Rachel Levine – was a man for almost 50 years, and shouldn’t be labeled as the “first female anything.” She lived the majority of his entire life as a man before transitioning in her late 40’s.

Levine was sworn in to her new position earlier this week and was promptly labeled “the first-ever female” four-star admiral to serve in the US government.

Reps Banks (R-IN) and Greene (R-GA) took a stand for women when they sent their tweets, pointing out that attributing the title of the first female anything to Levine would be a hindrance to furthering equal rights for women. Even for old white men, if they meet the qualifications, so the Twitter speech police quickly sprung into action to censor the lawmaker’s statements.

Rep. Greene wrote on Twitter that “A dude who lived the first 50 years of his life as a man isn’t the first female anything” and followed it up by pointing out the fact that, thanks to all of this woke BS, Communist China is laughing at us.

Twitter immediately censored the tweet but allowed it to stay up. Likes, retweets, and comments are no longer allowed on the post and the platform added a banner that reads “This tweet violated the Twitter rules about hateful conduct. However, Twitter has determined that it may be in the public’s interest for the Tweet to remain accessible.”

Biden Delays Release Of JFK Assassination Files “To Protect Against Identifiable Harm”

The Biden administration continues to stonewall transparency.

The White House announced they will delay the release of classified JFK documents.

The White House said the national archivist needs more time for a review into that redaction, which was slowed by the pandemic.

Biden said that keeping the files private was “necessary to protect against identifiable harm.”

Mr. Biden also said the delay was “necessary to protect against identifiable harm to the military defense, intelligence operations, law enforcement, or the conduct of foreign relations” and that this “outweighs the public interest in immediate disclosure.”

Although the audit work performed would never address all the issues and fraudulent activities that occurred in the 2020 Election due to the manner in which the audit was performed, the audit did have some notable results.

We noted already the results of the 2020 audit performed by the Wisconsin state auditors and why Speaker Vos wanted this audit because he knew it would never address the thousands of fraudulent ballots counted in the state’s election results.

However, the state auditors did the best with what they had in time and experience and did have some shocking observations in their report. For one, they noted that nearly a million people registered to vote in the state in 2020 before the November election with most registering online. Sweden Suspends Moderna Shot Indefinitely After Vaxxed Patients Develop Crippling Heart Condition

New concerns are being raised about side effects from the Moderna vaccine against the coronavirus.

Swedish health officials have now decided that a moratorium on giving the Moderna vaccine to anyone under 31 will be extended indefinitely, the U.K. Daily Mail reported. The pause on the Moderna shots had been scheduled to end on Dec. 1.

Finland, Iceland and Denmark have taken similar steps. Norway is encouraging men under 30 not to get the Moderna shot, but is not mandating it.

For months, the Moderna vaccine has been under scrutiny because of data that shows young men who receive it are at increased risk for myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle, and pericarditis, an inflammation of the sac around the heart.

The Daily Mail reported that one U.S. study that has not yet been peer-reviewed concluded that “young males under [age] 20 are up to six times more likely to develop myocarditis after contracting COVID-19 than those who have been vaccinated.”

The decision comes as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is putting Moderna’s plans for a shot aimed at the population from age 12 to 17 on hold due to concerns over risks of the ailments, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Although a federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention panel on Thursday approved boosters for the Moderna and Johnson & Johson vaccines, there were some cautions raised, according to CNBC.

Dr. Tom Shimabukuro said there is an increased risk of myocarditis and pericarditis with either the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, in particular after the second dose of the vaccines.

According to the Daily Mail, the data indicated the risk was 13 times greater for those getting the Moderna vaccine than for those who got the Pfizer vaccine.

Assange supporters rally in London, as US prepares new extradition attempt

Supporters of Julian Assange have gathered in London to demand freedom for the jailed WikiLeaks founder. Meanwhile, the US is preparing a fresh legal fight to extradite Assange and try him for espionage.

Crowds of Assange supporters marched to the High Court in London on Saturday, demanding that the US government drop its charges against the publisher.

As columns of protesters held banners aloft, a truck bearing Assange’s image and the message “Journalism is not a crime” drove along the protest route.

Beginning next week, American prosecutors will appeal a British judge’s decision in January to block Assange’s extradition to the US on grounds that his declining mental health, coupled with the austere conditions in an American prison, would leave the WikiLeaks founder at risk of suicide. The Americans were given permission to appeal in August, after the High Court ruled that a psychiatric report on Assange – used to justify blocking his extradition – had been misleading.

Further protests are expected outside the High Court when the appeal kicks off on Wednesday, and as Assange’s supporters marched through London on Saturday, smaller protests took place throughout the UK and Ireland.

Though his extradition to the US has been blocked, Assange remains behind bars in London’s Belmarsh Prison. If extradited and found guilty by a US court, he faces a term of up to 175 years.

Poland Will Not Be "Blackmailed" Into Accepting European Union Laws, PM Morawiecki Says

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said on Thursday that his country will not bow to the European Union’s “blackmail” on deciding legal frameworks of member states, but is open to constructive dialogue.

Arriving at a summit of the 27-member bloc, Morawiecki said that Poland “was as faithful to the rule of law as others and as the EU institutions are.” He added,

“Some EU institutions assume the right to decide on issues to which they have not been entitled to decide. They assume competencies which have not been handed over to them in the treaties.”

Morawiecki said that EU laws maintain supremacy over national laws on matters transferred to the EU. “We don’t agree to the constantly broadening range of competencies but we will, of course, talk about it.”

On Oct. 7, Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal ruled that some elements of EU law were incompatible with the country’s constitution. This ruling, criticized by Brussels, essentially gave national law primacy over that of the EU.

“It has to be clear: You are a member of a club, you have to abide by the rules of the club. And the most important rule of the club is that the European law is over national law,” the EU’s top diplomat, Josep Borrell, told Reuters.

Since the nationalist Law and Justice (PiS) party took over power in 2015, the ideological conflicts have incrementally increased.

European Parliament President David Sassoli said the Polish tribunal’s ruling challenged “the legal bedrock of our Union,” and that, “never before has the Union been called into question so radically.”

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen laid out three options as a response.

The first option, “infringement,” is where the commission legally challenges the verdict of the Polish court.

The second option, which is active currently, involves the withholding of funds. Warsaw will not be able to access the 36 billion euros ($42 billion) of COVID-19 pandemic recovery grants. This could lead to a further blockage of around 70 billion euros ($81 billion) set aside for development projects in the 2021-2027 budget.

The third option would be the implementation of Article 7 of the EU treaty which suspends member states of certain rights, including the right to vote on EU decisions.

The Frightened Class

They’re all around us, especially those of us who live in relatively prosperous metropolitan neighborhoods in the US or Western Europe. Despite being—at least in material terms—among the most fortunate people who have ever walked the earth, they are very scared. And they want you to be very frightened too.

Indeed, many of them see your refusal to be as frightened as they are about life’s inevitable risks as a grave problem which entitles them and their often powerful and influential fellow travelers to recur to all manner of authoritarian practices to insure that you adhere to their increasingly neurotic view of reality.

This tendency has been in full bloom lately as the people who have sat safely behind their laptops during the last 20 months have harangued and threatened those who have been out on job sites and meatpacking plants mixing freely with others and the virus, to internalize their own obsessions.

And when these supposedly ignorant others—whose storehouse of empirical evidence about the dangers of the virus easily outstrips that of the laptoppers—refuse to buckle to the demand to be scared, they are met with all sorts of opprobrium.

Viewed in historical terms, it’s an odd phenomenon.

For most of recorded time prosperity and education have been the gateway to a life of relative freedom from worry. But now, the people who most enjoy these benefits are, it seems, wracked with anxiety and, in the not infrequent way of many people suffering that plague, and hellbent on sharing their misery with others.

The point here is not to belittle the very real costs of anxiety in the lives of many people, nor to dismiss it as a real public health concern. Rather, it is to ask how and why it is proliferating so rapidly among those who, at least on the surface, have less reason than the vast majority of their fellow human beings to suffer from it.

There are, I think, a number of possible explanations.

One way of explaining the phenomenon is in the context of income inequality and its devastating effects on the shape and size of the upper middle class, and those who still believe they have a realistic chance of joining its ranks. Those who have “made it” into that sub-group are deeply cognizant of the unstable nature of their status in a world of corporate buyouts and rampant layoffs. And they worry that they may not be able to provide their children with the ability to retain what they see, rightly or wrongly, as the only real version of the good life.

Thus, when the people way up on top made the decision following September 11th to make the inducement of fear the cornerstone of political mobilization in an increasingly post-political and post-communal society, they found a ready reserve of support in this anxious if also relatively prosperous cohort of the population.

Israel Resumes Practicing Military Attacks On Iran After 2-Year Pause

The Israeli Air Force has resumed, after a two-year pause, what is being described as “intense” drills to practice attacking Iran’s nuclear sites, a move that likely would start a major war.

This comes just days after a report that the Israeli government approved a $1.5 billion budget increase for the military explicitly to pay for preparations to attack Iran.

Defense Minister Benny Gantz defended the spending, saying it is necessary to prepare for the planned attack on Iran. This is expected to include acquiring new planes to participate in the attack.

Underpinning Israel’s on-again, off-again planning to attack are decades of efforts to get the United States to attack Iran instead. Usually Israel’s scaling up its own unilateral options is theater to try to pressure the US.

This time, it comes not long after Israeli officials were crowing about Secretary of State Antony Blinken giving lip service to a US military option. This was reported to be exactly what Israel wanted, but now Israel is back to spending on its own war option.

In the grand scheme of things, the Israeli war narrative fuels itself more than anything, trying to feed US policy with alarmist claims and false statements about the months until Iran has a bomb they aren’t even working on. Though decades of this has made US decision-makers at least a little resistant, Israel’s own politicians, more than a few of whom have made a career on targeting Iran, may blunder themselves into an ugly war by falsely presenting themselves with no alternative.

Facebook leaks: Network knew it radicalized users, was too slow to root out QAnon and anti-vaxxers, critics say

Internal Facebook documents leaked to the media confirmed accusations that its algorithms pushed users to radical views. Proponents of increased content censorship have received new arguments for their case.

The Silicon Valley giant doesn’t do enough to protect society from various ills, its critics, including some employees, believe. Meanwhile, Facebook is working on new ways to curb the growth of certain groups through manipulation rather than blanket bans.

‘Carol Smith’, a self-identified politically conservative mother from Wilmington, North Carolina with an interest in Christianity, joined Facebook in the summer of 2019. She subscribed to the accounts of Fox News, Sinclair Broadcasting, and Donald Trump.

In two days, Facebook suggested she check out the latest memes from QAnon – a conspiracy theory claiming that a shadowy group of American ‘patriots’, along with Donald Trump, were about to crack down on a nationwide ring of powerful pedophiles, including prominent politicians. In three weeks, her feed was “a constant flow of misleading, polarizing and low-quality content,” according to an internal Facebook report leaked by an ex-employee, among a trove of other documents.

‘Carol’ was a fake persona created by Facebook researchers to see how quickly the social media network’s algorithms lured users into the ‘rabbit hole’ of political extremism. The document was leaked by a former Facebook employee, Frances Haugen, and shared with media outlets, including NBC News and the New York Times.

By turning a blind eye to QAnon, “Facebook literally helped facilitate a cult,” Renee DiResta, a researcher of ‘malign content’ at the Stanford Internet Observatory, told NBC.

Pros outweigh cons: FDA weighs risks of side effects & hospitalizations of Pfizer jab in 5-11-year-olds

The FDA says the benefits of the Pfizer vaccine in preteens outweigh the risks, but that excess hospitalizations because of the jab may exceed the prevented hospitalizations due to Covid-19 if the transmission levels are low.

In a review of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine published on Friday, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) seemingly laid the groundwork for extending eligibility for children aged 5-11. The watchdog studied several scenarios of the pandemic, arguing that in four of them, the benefits of full vaccination with two Pfizer doses “clearly outweigh the risks,” while in one scenario, “the model predicts more excess hospitalizations due to vaccine-related myocarditis/pericarditis compared to prevented hospitalizations due to Covid-19.”

The scenarios in which there are clear benefits to vaccinating children as young as five are distinguished by a relatively high number of daily Covid cases, with the analysis using the incidence rate from September 11 and one “close to the recent peak of the Delta variant” as benchmarks. Another scenario, in which vaccination is portrayed as clearly the best option, envisions a vaccine effectiveness rate of up to 90% against infections and 100% against hospitalization.

Although the researchers say that if the number of coronavirus cases drops to the lowest recorded levels (June 2021), the excess hospitalizations caused by vaccine side-effects could be higher than prevented hospitalizations due to Covid-19, they claim that “the overall benefits of the vaccine may still outweigh the risks.”

The FDA argued that myocarditis-related hospitalizations are not as dangerous as Covid-19 hospitalizations, pointing to the “different clinical implications” of the two conditions.

The release of the review comes less than a week before the FDA vaccine board is set to decide on whether to recommend greenlighting the use of the vaccine for children aged 11 and younger. The shot has already been approved for those aged 12 and over.

The review also coincided with the publication of early trial results showing that the jab is 90.7% effective against symptomatic Covid-19 in children from 5 to 11. Over 2,000 children participated in the trial, during which they received two doses of 10 micrograms, a third of the dose used for adults.

‘Kidnaping’ trial of ex-Italian interior minister Salvini, who barred cross-sea migrants from entering country, begins in Palermo

Former Italian interior minister Matteo Salvini is facing up to 15 years in prison in a controversial trial over his 2019 order to prevent migrants picked up by NGOs while crossing the Mediterranean Sea from entering Italy.

The trial, which started on Saturday in Palermo, is about one particular incident among dozens that happened during Salvini’s tenure as interior minister. It concerns his refusal to allow 147 migrants to disembark in Lampedusa in August 2019. The stand-off lasted for about 19 days before a court overruled a ban on private rescue ships entering Italian waters.

Salvini is the leader of the right-wing, anti-immigration Lega Nord (North League) party. He held the offices of deputy prime minister and interior minister in an unorthodox coalition government with the left-wing Five Star Movement (M5S) at the time his alleged crimes occurred. He is accused of abusing his power and kidnapping the migrants and may face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.

The trial was initially scheduled for September 15, but was postponed for over a month so that a larger courtroom could be found to accommodate more people interested in the procedures, including journalists.

A defiant Salvini tweeted a photo from the scene, saying his prosecution was “required by the left and the fans of illegal immigration”. Ahead of the hearing, he said illegal migrants were arriving in Italy by their hundreds under the current government and that he was simply doing his duty as interior minister when he attempted to stop the inflow.

‘Hunter Biden Rule’ proposed to prevent money laundering in art world

Art galleries and museums should be subject to the same money laundering-prevention rules as banks when they buy and sell art, with extra scrutiny placed on sales by family members of elected officials like Hunter Biden, says a good-government group.

A proposed federal regulation — dubbed the “Hunter Biden Rule” — was submitted this week by the Virginia-based National Legal and Policy Center to the Department of the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network.

The effort was the NLPC’s response to an imminent sale of paintings, priced between $75,000 and $500,000, at a Manhattan art gallery by President Biden’s son.

Earlier this month the White House assured critics that it had a full-proof plan to prevent influence-peddling: require SoHo gallerist Georges Berges to keep the identities of the buyers secret from the White House. Critics have said this plan is fatally flawed because buyers’ names are sure to leak publicly.

At the same time, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network doubled down on its dire warnings that art galleries and museums need to be more vigilant. The agency issued a call for proposals to help them crack down on shady art deals, which are increasingly being used by terrorists and criminal enterprises to hide assets and launder billions, the agency said.

Last year, a Senate subcommittee on the art industry concluded that “the art industry is considered the largest, legal unregulated industry in the United States.” The report, entitled “The Art Industry and US Policies that Undermine Sanctions,” noted that unlike financial institutions, the buying and selling of high-priced art is not subject to the same mandated “detailed procedures” to verify a buyer’s identity and prevent money laundering.

Right now, the sale of art only comes under scrutiny if a financial institution flags a concern with a transaction over $10,000, art dealers told The Post.

The subcommittee’s report, issued in July 2020, noted that China and North Korea were laundering money through the sale of art and antiquities. In another instance, the subcommittee cited a Lebanese-based diamond dealer and art broker who laundered cash through sales of Picasso and Warhol works in order to help fund Hezbollah terrorism. The Office of Foreign Assets Control, which regulates US sanctions, alleged Nazem Said Ahmed hid his personal wealth in high-end art in order to evade US sanctions.

The 1 percent lecture about climate change while making it worse

Just west of the Pacific Coast Highway in the Paradise Cove area of Malibu, a major construction project is underway. Every day, at least 20 pickup trucks full of workers, earthmovers and multiple cranes belching black smoke crowd onto the lot, power up and get to work building Laurene Powell Jobs’ dream beach compound.

To date, Steve Jobs’ widow has spent more than $80 million on three oceanfront lots — tearing down the existing houses and, according to one person in the know, now building a “massive 20,000-square-foot home for her and her two grown daughters and two smaller ‘cottages’ that are around 4,000 square feet a piece for guests.”

Powell Jobs’ compound is par for the course in that ’hood, but she also just made international headlines with the announcement of her $3.5 billion investment with the Emerson Collective, an organization she founded in 2004 focusing on education, immigration reform and environmental causes.

A rep for Powell Jobs said her latest round of cash is slated for the Collective’s Waverley Street Foundation, which targets “initiatives and ideas to help underserved communities most impacted by climate change . . . Efforts will focus on housing, transportation, food security, and health.”

It’s a noble aim, except for the fact Powell Jobs seems to be blithely abetting the climate change crisis by traveling to and from her multiple homes (three more in Silicon Valley, a $25 million horse ranch in Florida, another in San Francisco) on one of the two Gulfstream jets she owns. (She also has a Philippe Starck-designed mega yacht.)

She is not alone in her hypocrisy. Private jet travel has surged so much during the pandemic, according to The New York Times, there’s a shortage of pilots, and wait times to book a jet have tripled. Yet it’s hard to catch eco-warriors Bill Gates (who wrote a book on climate change, yet owns four private planes — a collection he calls his “guilty pleasure”), Richard Branson (who once created a Global Warming Prize for the first person to figure out how to extract greenhouse gases from the atmosphere), Jeff Bezos (who has his own climate change philanthropy) and Elon Musk on anything but their own jets — or even their own rocket. Branson, Bezos and Musk are so cavalier about fossil fuels they’re guzzling them like camels at the last oasis to blast into space, filling our sky with satellites and polluting the atmosphere with space junk along the way.

Musk, who has made his billions on (among other things) electric cars, has even offered a $100 million prize for anyone who can solve the problem of carbon removal. But as the Institute for Policy Studies notes: “Musk owes his billions [partly to] the billions more in taxpayer-funded research into rocket technology and other high-tech fields of knowledge.”

Austrian Chancellor Threatens to Lock Down the Unvaccinated if Cases Rise

People in Austria who chose to not get a CCP virus vaccine face being locked down at home if the number of severe COVID-19 hospitalizations in the nation continues to climb.

Austrian Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg announced on Friday that if the number of COVID-19 patients in intensive care units (ICUs) reaches 600, people who did not get a vaccine would only be allowed to leave their homes for specific reasons.

Six hundred intensive care units represent one-third of the total capacity in Austria. There were 220 COVID-19 patients in ICUs at the time of Schallenberg’s announcement.

“The pandemic is not yet in the rearview mirror,” Schallenberg said. “We are about to stumble into a pandemic of the unvaccinated.”

If the number of CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus cases in ICUs reaches 500, people who did not get a vaccine or have acquired immunity through prior infection would not be allowed to enter businesses like restaurants and hotels, Schallenberg announced.

The announcement came after Schallenberg met with local leaders to address a rapid rise in CCP virus cases. The CCP virus is the pathogen that causes COVID-19.

Austria boasts one of the highest vaccination rates in the world. More than 62 percent of its population are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, a higher proportion than in the United States.

There were 228 infections per 100,000 people in Austria reported during the last 7 days, compared to 152 cases per 100,000 people the week prior. The number of daily new COVID-19 cases has been climbing steadily in Austria since early July.

Austria’s threat of a blanket lockdown appears to be one of the most stringent mitigation measures targeting the unvaccinated population that has been attempted. Russia will lock down people over the age of 60 for four months beginning Oct. 25. Some states in Australia have allowed only vaccinated people to return to work.

The protection COVID-19 vaccines provide against spreading the Delta variant to others is relatively small and dwindles rapidly over the course of three months, according to a first-of-its-kind pre-print study by scientists in the United Kingdom published earlier this month. Twelve weeks after vaccination, vaccinated people were as likely to transmit the Delta variant as the unvaccinated, the study found.

National School Board Walks Back Letter Comparing Parents To ‘Domestic Terrorists’ After Bombshell Emails Exposed White House Collaboration

The nation’s largest school board association apologized Friday for sending President Joe Biden a letter comparing parents to “domestic terrorists.”

The National School Board Association (NSBA) issued a memo apologizing for the letter and the process within which it was published. The memo was sent out to NSBA members from the NSBA board, which was unaware that the original letter was sent to the White House.

“On behalf of the NSBA, we regret and apologize for the letter. To be clear, the safety of school board members, other public school officials and educators, and students is our top priority, and there remains important work to be done on this issue,” the letter reads. “We apologize also for the strain and stress this situation has caused you and your organizations.”

Emails obtained by Parents Defending Education, a concerned parents organization whose leaders were among those dubbed “domestic terrorists,” uncovered that the NSBA was in communication with the White House for “several weeks” before the letter dropped.

According to the same emails, NSBA’s CEO Chip Slaven and President Viola Garcia sent the letter to the White House without the approval of the organization’s board.

Covid-4-Eva: France Considers Mandating Third Jab Booster Shots for Vaccine Passport

The French government is considering requiring a third jab of a coronavirus vaccine in order for people to continue to qualify for the country’s vaccine passport, which is required to access many public spaces including cafes, bars, and restaurants.

France’s Pass Sanitaire (health pass) vaccine passport system has already been extended by the National Assembly until at least next summer, and now the government is mulling a requirement for a third jab.

President Emmanuel Macron’s spokesman Gabriel Attal told the French broadcaster La Chaîne Info that no formal decision has been made on the requirement. However, Attal said that the idea is “gaining ground” as a means of increasing uptake of booster shots.

Currently, out of the six million people eligible for a third jab, only two million have come forward to take it.

The Minister of Health Olivier Véran said that the government will be looking to have at least 22 million citizens receive the third dose.

According to Public Health France data published by Le Parisien, 73.8 per cent of the French people have been fully vaccinated, with 75.7 per cent receiving at least one dose of a vaccine.

Following a meeting with the Pope on Monday, Prime Minister Jean Castex said that the government will look to the opinion of the HAS (French National Authority for Health) before making a decision. However, other reports have suggested that it will be up to the government to make the determination first.

“The question of suspending the vaccination pass for a third dose will be submitted to arbitration by the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister. Then, if it is validated, an opinion will be required from the HAS and the Scientific Council,” a government source told BMFTV.

While the majority of the French public supports the vaccine passport system, a poll conducted by Odoxa-Backbone Consulting for the Le Figaro newspaper found that requiring a third dose for the pass could “change everything”. The survey found that nearly six in ten (58 per cent) are opposed to making health papers dependent on a third jab.

There has also been some pushback within the medical establishment in France against the notion, including from Professor Yves Buisson of the National Academy of Medicine, who described it as a “bad idea”. Prof Buisson argued that the focus of the government should be on ensuring all people have had two doses of the vaccine, rather than “bothering” people to get a booster shot.

The head of immunology at the Henri-Mondor hospital in Créteil, Jean-Daniel Lelièvre warned, however, that if the third jab is not required, it could result in a coronavirus “catastrophe” in France by the “end of the year”.

The third dose requirement for vaccine passports has already been implemented in other countries, such as Israel.

Concerns over personal liberty and privacy rights have seen hundreds of thousands of people take to the streets of France in protest over the past few months.

Ukraine receives third batch of US military aid

The third batch of additional US military aid arrived in Ukraine, including ammunition, anti-tank and precision weapons as the Defense Ministry of Ukraine reported.

WISCONSIN SENATE PASSES FOUR NEW ANTI-ABORTION, PRO-LIFE BILLS

The Wisconsin Senate passed four pro-life bills by a strong majority this week, to educate and empower parents while protecting their unborn babies from being killed in abortions.

One bill was sponsored by state Senator Chris Kapenga (R) that would require abortionists to inform their parents about the life-saving abortion pill reversal procedure, which has saved more than 2,500 babies’ lives thus far.

On the state Senate floor, Kapenga defended the Woman’s Right to Know Act (Senate Bill 591) against “misinformation” claims from some Democrat lawmakers, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. Kapenga said the bill “empowers women” by ensuring that they receive basic information about their choices when seeking an abortion.

Along with the informed consent bill, the Senate also passed the Prenatal Diagnosis Information Act (Senate Bill 592), which would require doctors to provide educational resources and support to parents whose unborn babies test positive for congenital disorders.

The Shield, the Vulnerable Act (Senate Bill 593), also passed Wednesday, and would ban discriminatory abortions that are performed solely based on the unborn baby’s sex, race or disability diagnosis.

A fourth bill would defund Planned Parenthood and other abortion groups of tax dollars by prohibiting abortion facilities from being state-certified Medicaid providers, the Journal Sentinel reported.

All four pro-life bills passed in a 20-11 vote and now head to the state Assembly for consideration, according to the report. The Wisconsin legislature has a solid pro-life Republican majority, but Gov. Tony Evers, a pro-abortion Democrat, is expected to veto the legislation.

Wisconsin Right to Life praised state lawmakers for prioritizing protections for mothers and babies. Gracie Skogman, legislative director at Wisconsin Right to Life, said earlier this fall, “The heart of the pro-life movement is to value the life of all unborn children, and provide loving support to women as they chose life for their unborn children. Providing women with critical information and support when facing an unexpected pregnancy is an integral part of this mission.”

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported 6,32 abortions in 2019.

Hendel, UN chief agree on cooperation to combat antisemitism online

Communications Minister Yoaz Hendel, who was also present at the meeting, said Israel will be a "pioneer in a global war for the truth."

Communications Minister Yoaz Hendel and UN Secretary-General António Guterres met in New York on Friday and agreed to join forces to combat hate speech, incitement and antisemitism online.

Hendel, who arrived in New York after a three-day visit to Washington DC, shared with Guterres on the committee that he has decided to establish to review the status of social media networks in Israel and whether they can be defined as media organizations, thereby giving the courts the ability to hold them accountable for content that they publish.

"We are in a war for the truth and in stopping incitement and hate speech," Hendel said. "Israel will be a pioneer in this battle."

Hendel, Guterres, and Israeli Ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan discussed the influence that algorithms hold over the emotions of teens and the need for a binding, international regulation which puts responsibility on the social media companies.

Erdan noted that inciting content on Israeli channels of social media platforms is directly connected to terror attacks in Israel.

Hendel proposed to share the knowledge accumulated in Israel in these areas, partly due to committees he seeks to establish in the Communications and Justice ministries to examine ways to rein in social media companies and make them accountable for the content that appears on their platforms.

In the meeting, Gutteres said advanced infrastructure to tackle such algorithms, which "encourage hate speech and polarization," are a priority for the UN.

Macdonald, 72, was jailed for at least five years and three months and Obeid's son Moses, 53, was jailed for at least three years.

Eddie Obeid, however, was allowed to return to his Hunters Hill home after his lawyer complained that because of his serious health issues he could contract COVID-19.

Justice Elizabeth Fullerton refused the disgraced former minister's application for permanent bail until his appeal hearing, stating there were no "exceptional circumstances" that warranted it.

She told Eddie Obeid he did not have to go to the Surry Hills Police Centre to be processed, but must go straight to Silverwater Jail with his solicitor by 10am on Saturday.

On Saturday morning, Eddie Obeid was seen in a mask departing from his mansion in Sydney's lower north shore in a white Land Rover Discovery.

Author of Infamous Steele Dossier Claims Putin May Have Served Him Tea

In 2016, former MI6 officer Christopher Steele put together an opposition research report containing a series of salacious and sensational claims targeting then-presidential candidate Donald Trump and his alleged ties to Russia. The dossier, which helped launch the Russiagate conspiracy, was later discredited as a fabrication from start to finish.

Christopher Steele has claimed that he may have met Vladimir Putin, and said that the future Russian president may have poured him a cup of tea while the spy was on assignment in St. Petersburg in 1992.

“It’s possible he even served me a couple of tea, although hopefully not with poison in it,” Steele said, speaking to Sky News in an interview published Saturday.

The ‘poison tea’ comment was a likely reference to the debunked claim that Russia’s security services killed former Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko in London in 2006 by spiking his beverage with a deadly radioactive substance.

Steele, who worked in the British Embassy in Moscow between 1990 and 1993, also recalled meeting Mikhail Gorbachev in 1991, after organising a meeting between the Soviet president and then-British Prime Minister John Major.

“I was waiting outside with the cars. And somehow Mr. Gorbachev, who was at that point the most famous person in the world, I would say, appeared by the cars without my ministers. The whole world’s press was there and I was left to talk to him,” Steele said. “He asked me what I did in the Embassy, and I said that I kept a close eye on him and he thought that was funny.”

Steele also recalled an encounter he allegedly had with future British Prime Minister Boris Johnson while in university, saying Johnson, an Oxford man, headed a debate team during a visit to Cambridge, where Steele was studying social and political studies, and served as president of the Cambridge Union. Remembering his impression of the future Tory politician at the time, the ex-spy said that “not entirely sober was my recollection”.

“I do remember it was particularly rowdy that night and I had to intervene quite a lot from the chair to keep order in the chamber,” Steele added.

Commenting on the infamous Trump-Russia dossier that made him famous, Steele insisted that the claims made within were real. “I think the vast majority of it is real. I think it’s largely accurate. I mean if you were to say to me, is every crossed t and dotted i right, the answer is probably ‘no’. That’s very typical of intelligence work. What matters is that the main thrusts of it are right, and the majority of the details is right,” he said.

Asked about the credibility of his sources, Steele stressed he was “pretty confident that the majority of the sources were highly reliable, and others were certainly moderately to highly reliable, which is a good position to be in when you’re doing intelligence work”.

A Chinese technology executive held in Canada on US fraud charges has left the country after a deal with prosecutors, following years of diplomatic tensions over her fate.

Meng Wanzhou, chief financial officer of Huawei, was detained on fraud charges in December 2018 at the request of the US.

On Friday, the US Department of Justice dropped an extradition request for her.

Chinese tech giant Huawei paid Democratic lobbyist and donor Tony Podesta $500,000 to lobby the White House during the third quarter – the same period in which the Biden DOJ struck a deal to allow Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou to return home from Canada, where she was awaiting extradition to face criminal charges in the US.

Whether Podesta spirit-cooked up Wanzhou’s release is unknown, however the White House says they had nothing to do with it – and that the company is still subject to trade restrictions.

“This was a law enforcement matter that was entirely in the Justice Department’s hands – not a policy matter,” a White House official told CNBC. “As the Justice Department has said, they ‘reached the decision to offer a deferred prosecution agreement with Ms. Meng independently, based on the facts and the law, and an assessment of litigation risk.”

“President Biden and this administration believe digital infrastructure equipment made by untrustworthy vendors, like Huawei, pose a threat to the security of the U.S., our allies, and our partners. Export controls against Huawei remain in place,” the official continued, adding. “We are engaging with all of our partners and allies on the risks posed by Huawei and dozens of countries and carriers have made the decision to exclude Huawei from their 5G networks. And we expect this trend to continue.”

Huawei was designated a national security threat by the FCC.

The FCC even doubled down on Huawei being a national security threat earlier this year under the Biden administration.

“I believe that Huawei poses a national security threat to the United States. Huawei’s involvement in alleged sanctions violations, ties to China’s military, human rights abuses, and theft of intellectual property are deeply concerning,” undersecretary of commerce for industry and security nominee Alan Estevez wrote to the Senate Banking Committee. “Based on publicly available information that I know today, I do not see a reason to remove Huawei from the Entity List.”

How this "Energy Crisis" Is Different from All Others

The price of energy from all sources conventional is exploding globally. Far from accidental, it is a well-orchestrated plan to collapse the industrial world economy that has already been weakened dramatically by almost two years of ridiculous covid quarantine and related measures.

What we are seeing is a price explosion in key oil, coal and now especially, natural gas energy. What makes this different from the energy shocks of the 1970s is that this time, it is developing as the corporate investment world, using the fraudulent ESG green investment model, is dis-investing in future oil, gas and coal while OECD governments embrace horrendously inefficient, unreliable solar and wind that will insure the collapse of industrial society perhaps as early as the next months. Barring a dramatic rethinking, the EU and other industrial economies are willfully committing economic suicide.

What only a few years ago was accepted as obvious was that ensuring an abundant, reliable, efficient and affordable energy defines the economy. Without efficient energy we cannot make steel, concrete, mine raw materials or any of the things that support our modern economies. In the past months the world price of coal for power generation has doubled. The price of natural gas has risen by almost 500%. Oil is headed to $90 a barrel, highest in seven years. This is a planned consequence of what is sometimes called the Davos Great Reset or the Green Agenda zero carbon madness.

Some two decades ago Europe began a major shift to mis-named renewables or Green Energy, mainly solar and wind. Germany, the heart of EU industry, led the transformation with former chancellor Merkel’s ill-conceived Energiewende, where Germany’s last nuclear power plants will close in 2022 and coal plants are rapidly being phased out. This all has now collided with the reality that Green Energy is not at all able to deal with major supply shortages. The crisis was entirely predictable.

Green Chickens Come Home to Roost

With the widespread covid lockdowns of industry and travel in 2020 EU natural gas consumption fell dramatically. The largest EU gas supplier, Gazprom of Russia, in interest of an orderly long-term market, duly reduced its deliveries to the EU market even at a loss. An unusually mild 2019-2020 winter allowed EU gas storage to reach maximum. A long, severe winter all but erased that in 2021.

Contrary to EU politicians’ claims, Gazprom has not played politics with the EU to force approval of its new NordStream 2 gas pipeline to Germany. As EU demand resumed in the first six months of 2021, Gazprom rushed to meet it and even exceed record 2019 levels, and even at the expense of replenishing Russian gas storage for the coming winter.

With the EU now firmly committed to a Green Energy agenda, Fit for 55, and explicitly rejecting natural gas as a long-term option, while at the same time killing coal and nuclear, the incompetence of the think-tank climate models that justified a 100% CO2-free, electric society by 2050 has come home to roost.
